Unforgettable love

Chapter 107

Chapter 107:

Dolores was speechless.

She didn’t respond as she didn’t have much to do and Terry would go later. Theresa could take care of the work in the store. It had been a while since she had been so free.

After giving birth to Samuel and Simona, she had to prepare for the exam, and then she had to work. She had not been able to relax for several years. She should take advantage of these days to rest.

She leaned back in the chair, removed Matthew’s hand and said, “Drive carefully.”

Matthew felt something missing even though he was gripping the steering wheel. He felt the emptiness and only when he was closer to this woman would he feel more complete.

The traffic light was red at the traffic junction. He seemed to unconsciously put his hand on Dolores’ thigh. Dolores was speechless – this man.

He even started to grab her gently and before Dolores could object, he said, “We are married. If you won’t sleep with me, at least let me touch, she thought. He was a normal man and she couldn’t expect him to be a monk.

A woman’s thigh was a very private part of her body. Besides, he was very daring to keep rubbing her thigh until she began to feel aroused. She gripped a part of his clothing tightly, looked away, and did not dare to look at him.

Her heart was still pounding and she couldn’t seem to control her own heart. She couldn’t seem to control her emotions whenever she was with him. Dolores didn’t object and Matthew felt satisfied. His hand remained on her thigh but he didn’t move. He continued driving towards the imposing shopping district.

Soon enough, the car pulled into the subway garage of the WY Group building. It was a new car that Matthew had just bought for Dolores and it was not registered in the parking system. The guard shouted, “This is a garage for WY Group and is not open to the public. Please go somewhere else.”

Matthew rolled down the window and as soon as the guard saw him, he quickly raised the barrier and welcomed, “Oh, it’s Mr. Nelson, I didn’t know it was you.” He definitely shouldn’t have barred the boss for fear of losing his job. He looked at the woman sitting next to Matthew and was puzzled. He had been working there for almost five years and had never seen a woman in Matthew’s car. This was the first time and he couldn’t help but take a good look at her. Matthew glared at him and rolled up the window to block his view.

After parking the car, Matthew handed Dolores the keys and she took them.

“Thank you.” Although he kept insisting that they were married, Dolores knew that this marriage had not been made of their own free will and mutual attraction. It was a marriage arranged by the parents.

She discovered that this car cost more than one million yuan. He did not want any money from her, but she felt uncomfortable and had to express her gratitude.

“Do you really want to show your gratitude?” Matthew smiled.noveldrama

Dolores said matter-of-factly, “But of course.”

He leaned toward her, “If you really mean it, kiss me to express your gratitude, huh?”

Dolores was speechless. What about this man, didn’t he know where this was? It was his office. What if someone saw him?

Dolores nudged him and said, “Don’t get in trouble.”

“Then you owe me.” He took Dolores’ hand, placed it on his arm and headed for the elevator.

Dolores was uncomfortable and bit her lips as she said, “Would it be inappropriate for the staff to see us like this?” Her situation was quite uncomfortable.

Besides, she had just turned down a marriage – would others think she was the cause of that?

“I don’t want others to think I’m a mistress. I don’t like it.” She didn’t like the concept of a mistress. The notion of falling in love at the wrong time or meeting the loved one at the wrong time…those were all excuses to her.

Like Randolph she had changed her mind and didn’t care about his wife’s life and death for the sake of his enjoyment.

“We’ll do this in the future…” She was willing to hold his hand in public if she still liked him and not because of the current surge of emotions.

Matthew was deep in thought. He didn’t like mistresses either because there was one in his family. He let go of Dolores’ hand.

When the elevator stopped, some people entered and greeted Matthew, “Mr. Nelson.” Matthew nodded softly in acknowledgement. There was an unusual silence in the elevator.

Matthew slowly reached out to touch Dolores’ hand and she felt the electrifying touch and quickly moved her hand behind her and took a step away from him.

One of the elevator employees turned to look at Dolores and asked, “Do you work at WY Group, how come I haven’t seen you around?”

Dolores worked several days at WY six years ago to do some translation work for Matthew. Time had passed very quickly and definitely no one would remember her after all this time.

Dolores didn’t know how to respond other than to say, “I’m new here.”

“Oh? What department?” A classmate asked.

Dolores was speechless and wrung her hands.

Matthew stood still and took up a good part of the elevator. He smiled slightly and was curious how Dolores would respond.

Ding.

The colleague stepped off the elevator. Dolores let out a sigh of relief as her shoulders relaxed.

“I’m short a secretary,” Matthew said.

Dolores looked at him and declined, “Impossible, I have my own job.”

She didn’t want to serve him. It would be crazy to give up what she loved as a designer to work as a secretary for him.

“Do you want me to talk Mrs. William into closing her branch here?” asked Matthew.

Dolores immediately hesitated, “No.”

“No what?” Matthew insisted.

“Don’t tell Mrs. William that,” Dolores replied.

“All right. Kiss me and I won’t.” scoffed Matthew.

Dolores was speechless and nearly lost her mind at his antics.

“Aren’t you being shameless?” Dolores stared into his eyes.

“I always am.” Matthew declared.

Dolores was speechless once again.

Matthew suddenly grabbed Dolores’ waist and before she could react, she could feel him breathing down her neck. His soft lips pressed against her forehead. Matthew quickly released her and the whole process happened so fast that Dolores thought she was hallucinating. But she knew she wasn’t. She could still clearly feel the heat on his forehead and his lingering breath.

She stood to the side and smiled like a child who just got a toy.

When the elevator stopped, Matthew stepped off the elevator, walked to his office and said, “I’m thirsty.”

Dolores looked around and saw no one else. Was he talking to me, she thought. It was obvious he was addressing her because there was no one else around. Was he really treating her as his secretary? Dolores sighed and headed for the pantry with familiarity, as if she had worked here. She found the pantry easily and poured him a glass of water.

There were some changes here. There used to be several women, but now there were only men on this level. She sighed excitedly as she thought about how time could change many things.

The manager of the finance department, Candance Jones, was taking a monthly report for Matthew to sign.

She ran into Dolores just as they were entering the president’s office.

Dolores carelessly spilled some water on her and her expression instantly darkened.
