The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella)

Chapter 1435

Within minutes, Mirabella's car pulled up outside the designated old warehouse.

She glanced at Lisa in the rearview mirror before stepping out of the car.

The night was dark, but light spilled from the warehouse, illuminating Mirabella, clad in a sleek black coat. Her eyes narrowed as she noticed two guards at the warehouse entrance. She approached silently, swiftly neutralizing them without a sound.

They never understood what hit them.

Tucking away her silver needle, Mirabella heard several gunshots from inside. She looked up and quickly entered.

The air was thick with the scent of blood, and the sounds of combat grew louder as she moved deeper into the warehouse.

James was dodging bullets while grappling with a mercenary, moving almost like a shadow. To an observer, it might seem the mercenary had the upper hand, but in reality, only he knew he was being toyed with.

His men had been significantly reduced without him noticing, and he started to suspect James was deliberately buying time.

This couldn't go on. This wasn't their main base, and if James's reinforcements arrived, escaping, let alone completing their mission, would become difficult. Losing patience, the mercenary ordered his men to leave James barely alive. James, with his deep and emotionless eyes, dodged another attack, then in a swift movement, grabbed the mercenary's wrist, positioning himself behind him. It was time to end this.

The mercenary, his green eyes narrowing, felt his instinct for danger spike. He tried to break free from James's grip.

James's lips curved into a slight smile as he tightened his hold. But then he paused, as if sensing something, and suddenly let go.

This allowed the mercenary to regain control momentarily and he turned around, aiming a powerful blow at James.

His large frame gave him immense power, enough to gravely injure if not kill.

But just then, a silver needle, flying with deadly precision, pierced through his palm. The mercenary froze, his palm mere inches from James, unable to complete s strike.

Shock filled his eyes as he looked at the needle through his palm, feeling his strength ebbing away, his body growing limp.

His men too found themselves weakened, unable to even hold their guns steady, dropping them to the ground.

The mercenary managed to stay on his knees, noticing a new, deadly presence in the air.noveldrama

With great effort, he turned to see a stunningly beautiful young woman emerging from the shadows, her black attire making her seem like a specter from the underworld.

Struggling to maintain his balance, he knelt on one knee, his injured hand resting on it, blood dripping down the needle. He didn't care, his

gaze fixed on the approaching figure.

As she drew closer, he finally saw her face clearly - a young woman with sharp,

yet beautiful features, her presence as intimidating as any top-ranked assassin.

"Who are you?" the mercenary asked in broken English.

Mirabella cast a cool glance at him, her eyes briefly showing surprise at the tattoo behind his ear.
