The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella)

Chapter 1423

As soon as Mirabella stepped into the master bedroom, a faint medicinal scent rushed to her nose. It was hard to identify the specific aroma, as it was a smell typically lingering on those who had been in long-term contact with medications.

However, the presence of this scent in the room, although very faint, suggested that the person had not left long ago.

Pondering, Mirabella walked further inside, towards the floor-to-ceiling windows. She pushed open the door and stepped out onto the balcony, surveying the surroundings briefly before turning back inside.

"Miss Mira, I found a cellphone in the bathroom," Atlas emerged from the bathroom, holding up the device. "It's still working, but it's locked."

"Hmm?" Mirabella raised her head, her gaze momentarily freezing as it swept over the cellphone in Atlas's hand. She then took a couple of steps forward, her voice betraying no emotion, "Let me see."

Atlas handed her the phone.

Taking it, Mirabella noted its all-metal body, devoid of any brand logo. Her fingers moved slightly, and the screen lit up, prompting for a password.

Mirabella paused briefly before entering a six-digit code. As soon as she finished, the phone unlocked.noveldrama

Atlas, who had been observing Miss Mira's actions closely, was stunned to see her effortlessly unlock the phone with a random string of numbers.

Are computer hackers really this impressive nowadays?

To instantly figure out the password upon getting the phone?!

Atlas found it unbelievable and eventually couldn't help asking, "Miss Mira, how did I you guess the phone's password?"

Mirabella's lips twitched slightly, without looking up, she calmly replied, "I didn't guess it. The location I tracked earlier was linked to this phone."

Hearing this, Atlas's surprise gradually subsided.

If the location had been tracked to this phone, cracking its password probably wasn't a difficult task for her.

Thinking this, Atlas didn't pursue any other line of questioning.

After accessing the phone, Mirabella immediately opened an app, and sure enough, there was an email from Dominic.

She browsed through the phone but found nothing else of interest.

After a few seconds of

contemplation, Mirabella turned off the phone and scanned the room, knowing she wouldn't find any more clues. She then said to Atlas 'Atlas, let's go."

Atlas looked at her, unable to discern her thoughts, but nodded, "Should we have someone keep watch here?"

Mirabella pocketed the phone, "No need, the person I'm looking for is unlikely to return here."

"Alright." Atlas knew Mirabella had her reasons and didn't press further.

Soon, they took the elevator downstairs.

Once in the car, Mirabella took out the phone again, her eyelashes casting shadows as she pondered.

Why would Dominic's email end up on Morgan's phone?

Logically, Morgan should have no

connections with Presley, and e

if there were any, he wouldn't let

associate with someone!

Presley.

Why then was a phone left in that house, as if deliberately placed for someone to find?

Mirabella tapped the phone's edge, feeling as if she was trying to disperse a fog in front of her eyes.

After a moment, she took out her own phone and opened Messenger, sending a message to Cassie: Have you ever heard the elders mention a traitor from the Massolio family?"
