The CEO’S Unplanned Heir novel (Aurelia and Leopold)

Chapter 319

Chapter 319

He glanced at Leopold, who was busy with his work. Only a frenzy of tasks could bring a momentary

peace to his tormented heart.

William was bold and gregarious. Although this stranger was icy cold, he didn’t feel scared or

reserved.

“Dad, when will we reach Elysium?” he asked.

“Tomorrow morning,” Leopold replied flatly.

William swung his tiny feet, “Are you going to work all the time?”

Leopold stopped typing and looked at him, “Why aren’t you reading?”

Kane would quietly read or code on the plane, but William didn’t like reading, he loved to play!

“I don’t want to read.” He unbuckled his seatbelt, stood up, and began to wander around the cabin, All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

singing a nursery rhyme, “The man on the flying trapeze…”

Laura came over with a fruit platter, smiling. In her opinion, a child’s demeanor could change, and it

was normal for Kane to suddenly become lively.

“Kane, come and have some fruit.”

William walked over, picked up a strawberry and put it in his mouth, then walked over to Leopold, “Dad,

you’re so dull, no wonder mom doesn’t like you.”

Leopold’s weak point was hit again, tugging at his heart. He closed his laptop, picked him up, and put

him on the adjacent seat.

“Am I dull?”

William tilted his head, looking at him, “Can you tell jokes?”

Leopold was silent; he wasn’t that juvenile.

“Can you cook tasty food?”

Leopold choked; he didn’t have the leisure time for that.

“Can you make little gifts?”

Leopold was speechless; he wasn’t that thoughtful.

“Can you plant mom’s favorite flowers in the yard?”

Leopold frowned; he wasn’t that romantic.

William realized he couldn’t do any of these. He sighed seriously, “You’re really lame.”

A shade of pink crept into Leopold’s forehead, “Where did you learn all these absurd things?”

William shrugged. Daddy did all these. When mommy was upset, he would tell jokes to cheer her up

and then cook the world’s most delicious food for her. On holidays, daddy would make gifts with him for

mommy, and he even planted a garden full of her favorite tulips…

Of course, he wouldn’t tell his competitor about this, so he made up an excuse, “I saw it in some short

videos.”

“No more short videos, they’re talking nonsense,” Leopold commanded, furrowing his

brows.

Laura brought the fruit platter over and placed it on the child’s table, then said, “Young master, girls

need to be pampered, and cultivating feelings requires creating more romance and surprises.”

Sitting at the back, Kevin chimed in, “Women are more emotional. Even the most rational woman can

be easily moved. That night, Ms. Aurelia must have been hurt. If Arnold was the one who saved her,

she would definitely be bound by this lifesaving grace…” He stopped, the rest of the words were left

unsaid. Mr. Leopold would understand. He had to redouble his efforts to possibly win back Aurelia’s

heart.

Leopold’s heart took a heavy blow. If he had found her before Arnold, none of this would’ve happened.

He was, after all, a step too late. One wrong move and all was lost.

She and Arnold had a home, had a child. He and Kane were likely just a thing of the past to her, right?

His heart began to ache again.

He stood up, heading towards the staircase, “I need a rest, take care of the kid.”

He needed some quiet time alone to lick his wounds.

Entering the room upstairs, he sat by the window, gazing at the pitch–black sky. He didn’t want to let

go. His heart was small, only large enough for her, and he couldn’t possibly love another woman in this

lifetime.

The bond of their marriage was his only hope.

Taking a deep breath, he picked up his phone and typed a few words into Google: How to win a

woman’s heart back.
