Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Chapter 782

The car sped along and came to a halt on the side of Magnolia Avenue. Sebastian stepped out first, opening the door for Nadine and Sean before heading to the trunk to grab the fishing gear.

As soon as he pulled out the gear, he heard Brad's voice. "Sean, come over to Daddy." Sebastian, holding the fishing equipment, turned in the direction of the voice, his face twisting in annoyance.

He noticed that Nadine, who was standing by the car, was also unhappy. He grumbled, "Why is he showing up everywhere we go? He's like a piece of gum stuck to the bottom of my shoe that I just can't scrape off! Nad, wait here for a minute. I'm going to tell him to get lost!"

After hearing his dad calling him, Sean scampered over, wiggling his little bottom as he ran toward Brad. "Daddy, how'd you know we were going to be here today?" Sean hadn't mentioned anything about the fishing trip, so he was curious how

Brad knew to come.

Brad bent down and picked him up, smiling at him. "Why don't you take a guess?" The wound on his right arm had healed, but a twisted scar that looked like a worm remained.

Even though the long-sleeved shirts he usually wore covered it, the scar stood out under his shirt sleeves, looking a bit rough and intimidating.

Although the wound had healed, his nerves hadn't fully repaired, and he still struggled with some very fine movements. However, it didn't affect his ability to hold Sean.

Sean was dressed in a pink puffer vest, a black sweater, light gray pants, and a pair of tan high-top boots. Atop his head was a fisherman's hat, looking dapper and full of energy. His smile, with two dimples on his round, cherubic face, could melt anyone's heart. Sean looked like a delicate porcelain doll.

"I'm not going to guess! You grown-ups are exhausting with all your guessing games—doesn't it get old?" Sean huffed, like a tiny adult.noveldrama

He then tilted his head, looked at Nadine, and waved. "Mommy!" He smiled at her, worried she might be mad at him.

Nadine was dressed casually in white sneakers, dark pants, and a pink knee-length trench coat that cinched at the waist. It accentuated her long legs and slim waist making her look vibrant and energetic.

She didn't feel like acknowledging Brad, so she just waved back at Sean, signaling him to come over. But the little guy was in Brad's arms and couldn't return. Sean could only smile at her. "Mommy, can I play here for a little while?"

Nadine glanced at him and reluctantly responded, "Only for a little while. Then, you'll come back here."

Sean needed a father's love, and that was something she couldn't provide. So, she allowed him to experience some of that love with Brad and didn't stop him.

Sean beamed at her. "Thanks,

Mommy! You're the best!" After

getting Nadine's approval, Brad

carried Sean to the lakeside pier net

picked up a stone from the ground, and tossed it across the water. It skipped six or seven times before sinking below the surface.

Sean exclaimed, "That was so cool, Daddy! Teach me!" Brad smiled as he pulled

him closer, teaching him exactly how to skip rocks.

Just then, Sebastian walked up to them and glanced at him. "You seem pretty

relaxed, Mr. Hamilton. Have you managed to resolve all your company's issues? Since you've got time to pursue a woman and all."
