MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

There was an ear piercing silence in the hallway where the Grayson’s were gathered.

Liam was dumbfounded at the level of wickedness of his grandfather. He remembered the old maid who helped him hide his mum when that fire broke out in the chapel years ago.

“Whatever punishment that you give them Liam just remember that they are still your family” Mark suggested.

Liam raised a brow at him “And who told you that you are going to be spared?

He took out his phone and tapped on it for sometime before he faced them again. “Your punishments has been decided, none of you are allowed to step into this house and any other house that belongs to this family because they are all under my name! and for the records your bank accounts has been frozen”

“You all will have work to feed yourself or you can die of starvation for all I care” Liam said, his voice cold and icy..

Liam held Amelia’s hand taking her into his room in the Grayson’s home. “You crazy lady! who asked you to be a superhero? I would have been the one who got hurt but you had to get in the way!” Liam scolded taking out the first aid kit.

He returned to Amelia dressing the injury on her palm which was caused by the sword.

” should I have watched you get stabbed and slowly die?”

“so what if I died?”

“If you die who will I fight with? or argue with? you are now connected to my heart Liam and if you try as much as to say anything that concerns death again I’ll surely break your limbs”

Their was a little knock on the door before it was pushed open, Chloe stepped into the room.

Liam massaged his temples, this little girl was like a thorn in his flesh. “Big bro are you really going to throw us out?”

Amelia touched her chest admiring the cutie in front of her.

“Is anything wrong? you are going with them! go on and pack your tiny luggage” Liam icyly stated to Chloe.

Amelia smacked his arm “Liam she is just a kid, she had nothing to do with all of these”

Liam rose up on his feet walking towards Chloe, he bent down to her height “Now listen little girl, if you choose to stay back I’ll make you sleep in a room filled with rats”

A look of fright crossed past the little girl’s eyes, she looked towards Amelia for help. “Liam come on, can’t you see how much she adores you?”

Liam returned to the living room with Amelia and Chloe, by now the four people who were asked to leave the house were already standing with their luggages by their sides.

Amelia used both her palm to close Chloe’s ears “Get out of here you all! she isn’t coming with you I don’t want you to poison her innocent mind against Liam you’ve already failed as a mother to teach your son the right path in life and I don’t want the same for this cutie”

“I’ll be the one to take care of her”

Angie’s sharp eyes met Amelia’s hazel eyes which had sparks in them. “And what will you teach her? huh? how to disrespect and talk back to her elders?”

“I’ll teach her to stay away and respond to people like you!” Amelia seconded

“Chloe don’t you want to go with mummy?”

Liam turned to the guards who were still standing idly. “What are you still waiting for? throw them all out!”

A guard grabbed angie pulling her away but she was giving a fit for it. “I want my daughter! let me go!”

Mark smiled at his son, he didn’t blame Liam for separating Chloe from them, what he did was right, he knew that he had hurt Liam a lot by keeping the truth away from him, all he hoped for was for Liam to find it in his heart to forgive him.

Chloe sobbed gently as she watched her mother and brother being dragged out like criminals..
