MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Amelia took a glance at her phone when she felt it vibrate in her pink purse. “Hello Tina what’s up?” She inquired.

In the next second her face paled “Miss Hart we are ready to shoot!” the director called out.

“I’m sorry I have to leave something urgent came up” She explained before dashing off.

In less than thirty minutes she arrived at Liam’s mansion. She threw the car keys at the guard who was tailing after her. “Quit following me around and park the car properly!” she lashed out.

Amelia took a deep breath before pushing the door to Brianna’s room open.

As soon as she came into the room she saw Brianna gasping for air. “Mum! what is wrong with her?”

Brianna heard Amelia’s voice and tried reaching her hand to her.

Amelia went over to her side taking Brianna’s fidgeting hand in her’s. “What is wrong with her Tina? mum open your eyes I’m here now”

“She started behaving this way as soon as she had a discussion with Mr Grayson” Tina explained putting an oxygen mask on Brianna’s face.

Amelia pulled out her phone trying to get in touch with Liam but his line was unreachable.

“What discussion did she have with Liam?” Amelia questioned with a piercing gaze, she saw Tina bow her head to avoid her eyes.

“Ma’am I have no idea”

Amelia narrowed her eyes at her “Don’t tell me that! I knew you must have eavesdropped on their conversation tell me now or you’ll be fired”

“Madam recalled who pushed her off the balcony so Mr Grayson went over to his ancestral home”

Amelia’s eyes widened by the news “Wh.. at? oh no Liam, he might kill the culprit”.

Amelia turned to Brianna whose condition has stabilized and was now asleep. “Don’t worry mum I won’t let anything happen”

Old Grayson came forward pulling Nicholas out of Liam’s grip. Nicholas gasped and crawled to his mother who embraced him.

“You were trying to kill your own brother because of a mistake that happened years ago? so what if he killed your mum?”

Liam was shocked at the outburst from his grandfather. “Oh wow! you finally showed your true colors”

“Father how could you say such a thing? you have no idea of how much I wish to do the same thing to the person who took my mum and wife away from me”

Angie turned towards mark “So it’s all about her then! you are trying to side with her son? this monster tried to kill our son few seconds ago”

Mark turned to her sharply holding her neck “don’t you dare say anything! if you had instilled some sense into this empty headed son of yours then he wouldn’t have faced this”

Nicholas wriggled his father’s hands from his mum’s neck, Angie held her neck gasping softly. “Dad! how dare you…..”

His words were caught shut after he received a slap from mark. “Keep quiet! if I had done this long ago maybe, just maybe you wouldn’t have dared do something so outrageous like this!”

Liam didn’t have an interest in whatever was going on right now. “Are you guys done with your drama?”

He pulled Nicholas harshly once again raining several punches and kicks to him.

“Have you seen what you caused? Liam let my prince go!” she cried out.

Her sharp hawk like eyes darted around till it landed on the knight statue in the hallway, she ran to it taking out the sword from the statue’s hand.

“Let my son go Liam!” Angie yelled rushing to him with the sword ready to strike Liam’s back.

“Angie!”

The sword froze on air as soon as she raised it up to strike Liam, the clanking sound of the sword dropping on the ground was heard.

“How dare you try to harm my husband?!” Amelia barked at her picking up the sword, she pointed the sharp edge at Angie’s throat.

Angie moved back slowly while Amelia moved forward to her with the sword still on her throat till her back touched the balcony’s railing.

Liam turned to her in disbelief, he met her gaze to receive a wink from her.

Nicholas groaned in pain supporting himself up. “What are you doing Amelia? you’ll hurt her!”

“So what if I hurt her?” Amelia demanded turning towards him..

Angie sighed in relief for a moment there she thought that Amelia was really going to stab her to death, she touched her neck just to be sure.

Nicholas swallowed hard as she stepped forward with the sword.

Nicholas face fell to the other side after he was slapt by Amelia. “Never for once have I doubted you even though Liam warned me to stay away from you! I feel like the world’s biggest fool for ignoring his words”

Old Grayson’s eyes narrowed at the lady who has been ranting on and on. “Enough already!”

Amelia looked towards him “Enough? whenever it’s about Liam you try to ignore and choose to stop me from speaking, the truth is you don’t like Liam you prefer this illegitimate grandson of yours I don’t blame Liam for treating him this way! he deserves much more worse than death itself!”

She turned to mark “And you! you claim to love Liam and his mum but all I see is selfishness, you knew all these years that Nicholas was the one who pushed Liam’s mum from the balcony but you chose to take the blame upon yourself to save this ungrateful son”

Liam stared proudly at his wife, he didn’t have any intention to stop her right now he was thrilled at her perfect timing but he wondered how she came to know about all these.

Mark bowed his head letting the tears he has been holding all these while flow down. His son only knew half of the truth what will he do once he finds out that old Grayson was the one who buried his mum alive claiming that she was dead. and his beloved grandma?

“I’m really guilty of your accusations but I did everything to save my two sons”..

“Now I feel the same hatred towards my dad for what he did to Brianna and my mom!” He added gnashing his teeth.

Everyone felt the gravity of mark’s words for the first time.

“He killed my mum and buried Brianna alive!”
