Dear Ex-wife Marry Me

Chapter 2124

Doris was utterly speechless, completely taken aback by Athena's impressive moves. It was like watching a scene from a high-octane action movie. Athena's skills put Anna's bodyguards to shame.

In her years managing talent, Doris had never encountered one of her artists who could fight like that.

After kicking Anna, Athena swiftly dealt with the two bodyguards who tried to restrain her. She twisted around them in a bizarre yet effective maneuver, forcing them both to their knees.

Anna got back on her feet, intending to retaliate against Athena, but seeing her take down two bodyguards left Anna pale and trembling.

"You brute! Just you wait, the boss won't let you get away with this!"

Anna, abandoning any pretense of acting, rushed back to the headquarters of WAJA Media. She burst into Jacob's office, tears streaming down her face, showing him her swollen cheek.

"Boss, you told me to try and charm Tyler, but look at my face now! How am I supposed to do that? That witch Athena not only hit me but also took down the two bodyguards you assigned to me."

Jacob frowned, thinking Anna must be exaggerating. Athena didn't look like the type who could overpower two bodyguards.

But Anna was adamant, leaving Jacob no choice but to believe her. He promptly called Athena.

Back on set, Athena noticed the wary glances from the crew, as if they feared she might lash out at any moment. Even Doris seemed uneasy, though her worry quickly turned to concern.

Anna had Jacob, their boss, in her corner. If she complained to him, Athena might end up blacklisted.

"Athena, don't panic. Try calling Tyler. See if he'll stand up for you. Otherwise, when you face the boss, he might not go easy on you."

The boss had tried to make unwelcome advances before, and now with Anna stirring the pot, things could get even worse for Athena.

Athena looked distressed, staring at her shattered phone. "I didn't back up his number. I have no way to contact him now."

Even if she could reach him, there was no guarantee Tyler would help. She just wanted to talk to him.

Doris placed her hands on Athena's shoulders. "I'll ask around. Someone must have Tyler's number. He's your best shot right now. The boss will probably call you soon, so hold off on going back to the office."

Athena nodded, sadness over losing Tyler's number evident on her face, seemingly unconcerned about her own precarious situation.

After some effort, Doris managed to get Tyler's contact information. But just as

she did, Jacob called Athena, demanding she come to the office.

"Athena, you know why I'm calling. You should reconsider my offer. Stick with me, and you won't regret it."

A look of disgust flashed in Athena's eyes as she hung up on him.

Doris was so startled she nearly fainted. "Even if you don't want to see the boss now, at least make up an excuse! What were you thinking, hanging up like that?"

Athena rubbed her temples, looking a bit overwhelmed. "Doris, did you get Tyler's number?"noveldrama

"Yes, I did. Let's go back. I'll buy you a new phone so you can call him."

Athena nodded, finally feeling a bit of relief.

After letting the director know she was leaving, she noticed the cast and crew's odd looks, as if expecting her to be replaced soon.

Everyone assumed it was only a matter of time before Athena would be begging Anna for forgiveness.

Back home, Athena dialed Tyler's number. It was already 8 PM, and Tyler was at Fitch's place, watching him take care of Nolan. He hadn't gone out drinking, so he was surprised to receive a call from an

unknown number.

When Athena's voice came through, Tyler understood. "It's Athena."

"What's going on?" he asked.

"I got into a fight with Anna. Made a mess on set."
