Chapter 1447
"Wyatt, this scoundrel!"
She was so pissed that she could feel smoke rising from above her head. Ignoring the fact that she had just taken a bath and was still in her pajamas, she grabbed onto a thick coat and swung the door open before stomping down the stairs. Along the way, the man's howling and bawling resonated throughout the corridor. In the quiet and empty night, the echoes could send chills down one's spine!
In particular, the villa was a bungalow located in an upscale residential area. The place wasn't often resided, or more precisely, the rich didn't stay in the mansions every day. Some took their manors as resorts, while some left the place early and returned late in the middle of the night. There were, of course, those that moved in like her as well. There weren't many neighbors around, but the moment such an incident took place, some curiously poked their heads out of the window. The same was for the alerted security guards!
Listening all the way, Waverly opened the door and noticed the car from a distance. As she glared at the man in front of her, she was so mad that she could barely hold back from spitting out blood.
"Wyatt Johnson..."
Hissing through her gritted teeth, she wanted nothing more than to tear him to pieces!
In fact, as soon as the door rang, Wyatt had long turned off his cell phone and the speaker he had bought. As his eyes fell on the woman in front of him, a smile overflowed from the depths of his eyes.
Back when he had bought the speaker, he had thought of shouting by himself, but he failed to brace himself to do so. In the end, he searched for a video on the Internet and placed it on replay at the door.
By the time Waverly rushed over, the word "wifey" from the speaker sounded whiny and pitiable. Probably a result of the phone turning off late, there was a weird change towards the end of it, turning it more hilarious.
"My wl-f-ey..."
The audio flashed through the initially seething Waverly' s mind. Ferociously glowering at him, Waverly couldn't help bursting out loud laughing with a scoff.
"Ha ha..."
He was always so full of tricks. How on earth did he come up with such a dumb plot?
Rolling her eyes, Waverly failed to conceal her high spirits although she chided.
"Wyatt! You rogue! What do you mean? Are you saying that I'm ugly or fat? Or are you trying to say that you can't differentiate me between a man and a woman?"
He was great at blowing her own horn, wasn't he? He was the rogue, but he behaved as though she was the one being unreasonable!
The moment she appeared, Wyatt felt like he had won a big prize. Little did he expect a random video of pleading for forgiveness from his wife to please her. Wyatt's mood turned for the better. Seeing her in pajamas, he rushed forward. Although it was a winter dress seemingly furry and thick, he was displeased by how it wasn't enough to block out the cold wind. At the same time, he removed his coat and draped it around her shoulders.
"Why did you come out dressed this way?"
Seeing her slightly wet hair, Wyatt reprimanded her discontentedly as he lifted her collar and tucked it in.
"I don't have any choice, do I? I'm pretty sure even those blinded know whether I'm ugly or not."
To meet her, he had to rack his brain to come up with such a method!noveldrama
An important thought crossed her mind. Waverly's face fell, but right then, she couldn't get mad no matter what.
They were out. What could she do?
Nevertheless, she was still pissed! All at once, she raised her hand to fiercely pinch the back of his hand!
Right then, two security guards riding on electric bikes approached them as they called out, "Hey, you two..." Their words trailed off.
They came forward to notice it was Wyatt. No matter how clumsy they were, they recognized him. They had initially wanted to warn him not to make a noise, or they would not show any mercy in driving him out. After a pause, there was a dramatic change in their attitude before they gave him a gentle reminder.
"This gentleman and lady here, it's windy at night, and you won't stop exiting and entering the car. Not only is it not safe, but you might also catch a cold. Both of you should return home and get some rest!"
He dared not tell him not to shout with his speaker, which might disturb the rest of the neighbors. The two exchange glances. With an inadvertent glance at the speaker on the roof of the car, a witty security guard had an idea pop up in his mind.
"Hey, who left the horn here? Was it that careless old man? If the superiors learn about it, he would have to pay for it!"
With his shout, the other security guard came to his senses and went along with him, "It does seem to be it! Why don't we take it back to the security room and paste a note at the door? It does make it easier for the owner to retrieve it."
They seemed to be conversing, but the two were staring straight at Wyatt.
It was an indirect method of requesting Wyatt to keep the speaker away. What else did he not understand?
After staying in the residential area for such a long time, the thin-skinned Waverly felt utterly embarrassed for the first time in her life, wanting nothing more than to dig a hole in the ground and bury herself in it.
On the other hand, Wyatt behaved as if nothing had happened. With a nod, he said, "Yes, that makes sense. Take it away!"
Hearing that, the security guards breathed a sigh of relief. Without the speaker, they didn't object to the couple standing in the wind for the whole night!
"Alright, then. The two of you, continue. We won't disturb you any longer!"
As they spoke, one of them went up to retrieve the speaker, while the other turned the car around before they gleefully left. Fortunately, the lights were dim at night. Waverly's face blushed red to the point of dripping blood.
The weather was cold, but all she wore was her pajamas. At that point, she did not want to stand at the door and embarrass herself, so she turned around and trotted into the room. His plot had succeeded. Wyatt trailed behind, not forgetting to carry the bag on the ground.
Aunt McGowan was quick to react by taking the initiative to return to her room for a rest the moment she saw the two entering the house. Waverly, who felt stuffy with anger, marched up the stairs covered with anti-slippery carpet, but she managed to stomp all the way.
The corners of Wyatt's lips arched. Looking at the person with puffed-up cheeks in front of him, Wyatt was in a good mood as if he had won a big prize. The gloominess that had been pervading her heart all way seemed to have been swept away.
Back in the room, the warm breath drove the chill on her body away. Gaining strength in an instant, Waverly came to a sudden halt, removed her clothes, turned around, and charged forward to punch Wyatt.
"Wyatt! Look at what you've done! Are you bored out of your mind? Why come up with all this in the middle of the night?"
She was famous for having a good temper since childhood. Her father had always mentioned how soft she was. With her soft temper, he was worried about her being bullied in the future. Recalling her father's words, Waverly screamed and stamped her feet, feeling as though she resembled a gunpowder barrel. They must have been blind, hadn't they!
It was the first time she was so pissed by a man that she panted as if she had used up all her strength. Her eyes were closed, so Waverly failed to notice that the moment the door closed behind them, Wyatt locked the door from the inside.
Placing the suit on the chair, Wyatt stepped forward, wearing a faint smile on his face. From there, he reached out to hug her from behind.
"Does your stomach feel better? Does it still hurt?"
Although she knew that Wyatt was caring for her, Wyatt trying to avoid the question turned her more irritated. Fuming as she turned around, Waverly poked him in the chest. Without realizing it, her voice softened.
"Wyatt! I was asking you a question! What are you doing here? Don't try to avoid answering the question!"
Was he from a foreign planet? Why did she have to waste her breath trying to get him to answer a question? Waverly was in an awful mood right then, at a loss for words.
Seething, she failed to remember that she had just taken a bath. Although she wore a thick winter gown that wasn't revealing, not to mention how it made it seem as though she was plump and chubby, it was home clothing. She was naked underneath.
He had initially intended to come over just to meet her up. As he had been waiting for her, Wyatt recalled her whining about having a stomachache from the time of the month when the two of them had gotten together that night. When he had been out to meet Carson, he had asked him about it, to remember him saying that it was There

Women's physical condition was
was no effective cure for it. All he could do was slowly nurse and improve the situation by consuming
Oriental Motherwort and stuff. Wyatt recalled Carson saying to pay attention to the stomach, hands and
feet, as well as to consume more food rich in iron. The simplest thing to do was to drink some soup, which could relieve the pain.
Taking advantage of his free time, he headed for the supermarket to buy a pack of sweets and warm padding. He remembered Carson mentioning that heating the stomach and moderate exercise, as well as massage, could alleviate the pain!
That was why the massage on the stomach that day was a type of physical relief!
In fact, that was the actual intention behind his departure. The speaker was purely a coincidence. When he left the store, he heard the speaker playing a video recording at the door. There popped up the sudden urge to purchase it, so he spent money and took quite some effort persuading the staff to set the second-hand speaker to him. Or else, where could he buy such an item in the middle of the night?
Plus, there wasn't any trace of the item in the convenience store!
There was a big difference between a man getting a taste of his sexual satisfaction and not. In the past when he had been busy, there wasn't much time for him to think about it. No matter how hard he tried, all he could do was fantasize. If that wasn't enough, all he could do was rélieve it in the bathroom. Right then, he resembled a cat that had tasted a
fish. Once the scent drifted into his nostrils, he couldn't suppress the idea of tasting the fish!
That was why although she was tightly wrapped up like a pillar without the
slightest curve revealed, a wonderful image had long appeared in his mind, in the
midst of which was her running her fingers through her messy yet soft hair,
fiddling with it. In a daze, Wyatt blurted out.
"I missed you..."
Was that the reason why he was acting all abnormal?
Those three words pissed Waverly off to the point where her lips trembled, failing
to get a complete sentence out of her mouth. Was it in vain when she had made her stance clear to him?
At the thought of what had happened that day, Waverly's face darkened. As she
forced herself to suppress her emotions, she said word by word, "Wyatt, listen carefully. I'm not going to take advantage of a married man! I'm being serious..."
What do you think?
