The servant's words infuriated Wyatt. Were they working together to keep him at bay? One wouldn't answer his call, while the other wouldn't let him in!

If he came over again the next morning, God knows where the woman would be!

Wyatt had never been so frustrated before. She was just a woman, there was nothing he couldn't handle. Of course, the man knew how to please a woman, but he and Raynee were both interested in each other at the same time, so their relationship started quite naturally. Needless to say, there were setbacks here and there, but with Waverly, it was a whole different situation. He'd never been straight out rejected like this before.

Wyatt's face was cold and devious. That was one distressed man!

However, men just liked it like this. The more you hide from him, the more he wanted you. Wyatt sure was furious, but he'd still give anything to talk to her. H*II, he'd even settle for just meeting her.

Aunt McGowan was a senior, and she was Waverly's servant, so Wyatt decided not to make too much of a fuss about it. He got out his phone and called her again.

As expected, he was sent to voicemail-once again.

Wyatt wondered if she had done something to her phone to turn down his calls! Perhaps he should change his number?

Wyatt rolled his eyes when the thought struck him. What an absurd idea. How was he going to do that so late at night? Should he have someone send it to him?

No, he couldn't let anyone else know about it! It was embarrassing!

Defeated. He was thoroughly defeated!

Wyatt had always been the higher person growing up. He was born into a good family, and he was the only son. His sisters all adored him, and he was used to being the center of attention. Perhaps he had to make a little compromisation with Raynee here and there, but no woman had ever been so disrespectful to him!

That would explain Wyatt's rage!

However, when Raynee came into mind, he couldn't help but feel disheartened. His fury slipped away and the man felt like a deflated ball. He hadn't cleared things up with Raynee yet. He was the one in the wrong, wasn't he?

"Fine," Wyatt settled, "I'll compromise. I'll yield!"

He decided that changing his number wouldn't be effective. The moment she hears his voice, she would hang up and he'd be back at the starting point. Then what would he do? Get another number? He couldn't just spend all his life changing his number! He needed a life-long solution.

Wyatt played with his phone and suddenly paused. He dialed her number one last time and left a message, "I want to see you, and I mean business. If you don't come down in ten minutes, I'll go by myself."

Waverly couldn't sleep knowing Wyatt was outside. With her phone in hand, her eyebrows knitted into a frown.

"Is he threatening me?"

Waverly cursed the man quietly as she involuntarily bit her finger. She couldn't just pretend nothing had happened between them!

However, she couldn't help but feel at a loss.

She knew when Wyatt called. She didn't answer them, but she knew when he called! She had been hiding in her den for the past couple of days, and she felt a little under the weather too. Wyatt didn't chase after her that day, and he waited two whole days to contact her. It was quite upsetting. Waverly didn't pay attention to the news, though. She didn't know about what happened to Victoria Atlas. Even if she had seen the news, she had probably forgotten about it. noveldrama

"Why did he wait two whole days to contact me?" Waverly wondered, "Is it because she's more important? Has he settled things with her? Is that why he's finally here?"

She hated a man who had two lovers, but the most annoying part about it was that she was one of his lovers, and she was the least important one too! Waverly tried telling herself she didn't care, but she d*mn right knew she did!

Although she had made up her mind to make the boundaries clear between them, she still cared about what happened between that man and that girlfriend of his! Besides, he had probably done some dirty things with that woman, and now he's coming to her. It was irritating, too irritating!

She held the phone in her hand as she paced in her room.

As Waverly was mulling over her options, she heard a sound and paused. Did he

just leave? Well, that was easy.

She subconsciously looked at the time. Only three minutes had passed!

Did he have to attend to something? Or did he just give up?

Waverly didn't have to make a choice anymore. She should've been happy, but

she felt empty instead. She held her phone tight in her hand and her mind went blank.

"What am I doing? Do I want him to pester me?"

"I'm really childish, huh?"

Waverly contemplated and wondered if she was cursed or something. She knocked her forehead angrily, "Relationships are such a drag."

However, what kind of relationship did she share with Wyatt Johnson? The only thing she did was commit adultery with him.

The more she thought about it, the more vexed she was. Since it was still her time of the month, she felt a little uncomfortable and decided to take a shower.

As Waverly showered, she could hear some noises coming from outside her door.

It was late at night, so even with her water running, Waverly heard the noise clearly.

What was going on?

Waverly closed the water and dashed out of the shower. She quickly put on some pajamas and slightly dried her hair. The moment she opened the bathroom door, Aunt McGowan called for her.

"Miss Castle? Miss Castle? Are you asleep? You have to come see this!"

Waverly heard it too. Were those...trumpets? Some trumpets played outside as a man yelled.

"Darling, it's my fault, please open the door for me! I shouldn't have stolen a glance at that young woman on the streets just now. To be frank, she wasn't as fat as you, oh, no, I mean, she's half your size!"

"Ah! Darling! It's my d*mn taste in women, I'm blind, it's my fault. A goddess was standing right beside me the whole time, but I failed to recognize her! I should burn in 6*II! Darling, I won't do it again, please don't be mad!"
