Chapter 448
Chapter 448
Bridget swallowed the food in her mouth. "What's up, Arya?"
"You and Jacob didn't have a wedding either. Do you want to go out and have a honeymoon trip?" Arya
asked tentatively.
Jacob was jubilant because he liked this proposal.
Bridget was not as excited as Jacob, but confusedly asked, "Why did you suddenly say that?"
Jacob was afraid that Bridget would refuse the offer and pick up some food for her. "Bridget, think
about that popular song."
"What song?" Bridget blinked in confusion.
"And I'm traveling light. Through the darkest alleys and loneliest valleys. I was dragging those heavy
chains of doubt and fear. Then with your love, the locks were broken. Now you're leading me to places
where there are no tears."
This man's intention was too obvious!
Bridget was angry, "Jacob, don't you feel shameful?"
"As long as we can take a vacation, I don't feel shameful at all."
Bridget,..."
The bickering between Jacob and Bridget ended with her failure.
"When are we leaving?" Jacob was jubilant after persuading her to have a honeymoon trip.
"Next month." Arya had no time to make arrangements for them at the end of this month.
Bridget tilted her head and said, "Go to a beautiful place on a snowy day."
Bridget was already looking forward to the trip.
After dinner, Bridget suggested, "Let's play cards."
She thought that no one could sleep so early.
"There are no cards at home."
Arya cleaned the table.
"I'll go buy it." Jacob raised his hand.
"Okay, you go ahead. I'll help sister-in-law clean the kitchen." Bridget said and then found that Xavier
had nothing to do, "Brother, why don't you help us wash the dishes?"
"What?" Xavier took the bowl and chopsticks from Arya's hand. "I'll leave this to you."
Bridget was stunned.
Give the chore to her?
"We provided the materials and the place. Shouldn't you do some work?" Xavier pointed to the table.
"I'll leave this to you. Clean it up."
Then he pulled Arya to their living room, but she pushed him away. "Stop it."
"Sister-in-law, you have a rest. I'll wash a few bowls by myself." Bridget glanced at Xavier and
mouthed," You care more about her than me." This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.
Arya chuckled. "Okay, I'll cut the fruit."
When Jacob came back, Bridget was cleaning up in the kitchen alone. When noticing that the couple
were watching TV and eating fruits in the living room, and his wife did chores, Jacob frowned. "Bullying
my wife?"
"If you don't want your wife to get tired, you can help." Arya nibbled on the apple.
Jacob threw the card on the table. "Man had to care his own wife."
As Jacob turned around and went to the dining room, Bridget had already come out and packed up.
Bridget glanced at him. "You have bought the card?"
"Yes."
Bridget hugged Jacob and bit his ear. "Later, we have to beat them. They bullied me just now. You have
to take revenge for me."
Jacob stood firmly on the united front with his wife and nodded vigorously. "Listen to my honey."
Jacob and Bridget walked into the living room and turned off the TV.
Bridget arranged the seats. In order to prevent cheating, they sat opposite.
Bridget shuffled the cards. "Let's play the game. It's not easy to cheat."
Bridget looked at Arya. "Sister-in-law, will you play the game?"
Hearing Bridget's words, everyone looked at her.
They all thought that she would never play cards.
Xavier had the same idea.
"Shall I try?" Arya pretended to be innocent.
"OK. We will teach you." Bridget said proudly.
Arya answered and saw Bridget shuffling the cards.
