You, Me And Our Genus Twins

Chapter 249

Chapter 249

Queenie nodded nervously. "I understand, Grandpa. I'll go right away." She was really scared this time. Queenie used to think she was better than anyone else thanks to her relationship with the Taylors. This was the first time she found out that she was not that much better than anyone. Someone could easily rob her of everything she had in just the blink of an eye.

Everyone in the family pinned the blame of this catastrophe on her. Damian refused to get the divorce, but even he yelled at her. She had been in control of the marriage all this time, and Damian never ever raised his voice, but he yelled at her just for this. Even so, she did not retort. She was worried Damian might break up with her. She would be done for if the Shrivers gave her the boot. She knew she was at fault this time, and she would keep her mouth shut from now on. She would never look down on anyone again.

"I'll go with them," Sam stood up and told Clive gently. "Mr. Hart and Madeline are generous people, Mr. Shriver. They won't push Queenie and Jay too much as long as they're really sorry."

Clive stood up as well. "I know you can settle this, Mr. Taylor," he said, then he sent him off.

Sam, Queenie, and Jay went straight to Sun Garden. After they arrived, Sebastian asked his servant to bring the boys over. He did not care about the apology. Sebastian would rather work than waste his time on something like this, but his sons needed this. He wanted the boys to know that what Jayden said was wrong. He would have Jayden swallow all the insults he hurled at his boys.

Jayden had gone through a rollercoaster of emotions in just one day. A moment ago, he was the beloved prince of the family, but then he became a persona non grata all of a sudden. Everyone in the family cursed him. His father even beat him up, and he cried his heart out, but not even his great- grandfather, who loved him to bits, came to his defense.

He had done worse things before, like striking his classmate's head so hard that it bled, but all his father did was chide him. He did not even spank Jayden. This time, however, his father spanked him even though Joel was not even hurt. He was scared. He knew he made a big mistake.

His mother taught him a million times on how to apologize while they were on the way here. She told him that he must get Quincy and Joel's forgiveness, or his father would divorce her. They would be booted out of the family. He had classmates who came from a broken family, and they were pitiful. He did not want that to happen, so he memorized everything his mother told him. Queenie gave him a push, and he bowed at the boys. "Quincy, Joel, everything I said was nonsense. I lied just to make you guys angry. It's not true. I know that was not the right thing to do, and I'm sorry. Can you please let bygones be bygones and forgive me?"

Quincy was sitting right beside Madeline, his face deadpan. He was reluctant to speak as well.

Joel blinked and stood up. "We'll forgive you if you actually know where you went wrong, but you missed someone. You haven't said sorry to Alex. You hurt him too."

Jayden was surprised that they were so agreeable. He immediately bowed to Alex and apologized as per Joel's request, "I shouldn't have hit you, Alex. I'm sorry."

Alex was sitting on the sofa. Just like Quincy, he was not moving or talking.

Joel looked at his brother and Alex, then he sighed. "Fine. I'll forgive you on their behalf, but promise us you'll never bully anyone else. You're the biggest bully in class. You, Rennie, and Gordon love to bully our friends. Last time you hurt Joey's head so hard, he had to get stitched. I can still see the holes of

the stitches on his head even now."

Sebastian squinted dangerously at Jayden. The little b*stard should feel lucky he didn't do that to my boys, or I would have made sure he had a taste of his own medicine.

"I-I understand," he stammered. "I won't bully anyone anymore. I promise." Bullying cost him too much. He went from a beloved child to a hated brat in a single day. That was terrifying, and he would never do that again.

"Okay, that's a promise then!" Joel beamed, then he tilted his head to the side before looking at Sebastian. "Dad, Jayden said he's sorry. He won't be a bully anymore. Can we forgive him?"

"Of course, Buddy." The boy was adorable when he tilted his head. Sebastian pulled him into his embrace and gave him a kiss. "We'll do just that." The love in his eyes was almost palpable.

Queenie saw that, of course, and she blamed Isabel for misinforming her. It's all her fault! She said the boys are b*stards, and Sebastian only took them in because he didn't want his family's descendants to wander the streets. She said they're the family's stains of humiliation, and that Sebastian hates them. She also mentioned that he only thinks of Madeline as a plaything, and once the novelty passes, Sebastian will remarry and have his own children. She said his wife is going to be one of the best ladies in Elsenburg, and Madeline and the b*stards are going to fall by then.

Isabel was a lady of the Taylors. She was vastly better than she was, and Queenie thought Isabel knew some insider tips, given how adamant she was. She foolishly believed her, thinking that what she said was true. But it's all a lie! They're no b*stards, and she's not a plaything. Sebastian cares about Madeline and the boys. He thinks of them as his family!

She insulted Madeline and the kids because of Isabel's misinformation. Even though Sebastian had forgiven her, she had lost her status among the Shrivers. Her husband would probably lose his spot as the heir, and his brother would snatch it away from him. And it's all Isabel's fault! From that moment on, Isabel was no longer a cousin she was proud of. Instead, she was her sworn enemy.
