Chapter 954: Deliberate Detail
Luna nodded, “Hmm.”
She saw Orion off.
Orion hugged her, reluctant to part even for a second.
They had missed so much time together.
He wanted more time with Luna.
Luna stood stiffly.
Orion let go of her and turned to leave.
Feeling she had behaved poorly, Luna said, “Orion…”
Orion turned, “Hmm? What is it?”
Luna shook her head, “Drive safely on the road.”
Orion smiled, “Sure, you go to bed early.”
…
After Luna finished bathing, Star woke up. She played with Star for a while until Star fell asleep, then she got into bed and drifted off. In a daze, she heard a noise at the door. She opened her eyes and turned to see Orion, who had just finished bathing and was wearing pajamas, walking quietly. Seeing her awake, he whispered, “Did I wake you up?”
Luna shook her head, “No, did Star wake up?”
“No, I just checked,” Orion replied.
He lay down, pulling her into his arms.
Luna closed her eyes.
“You found a place to stay?” she asked.
“Yeah,” Orion replied.
He personally arranged it, so it should be well arranged, and Luna didn’t ask any more questions.
“Let’s sleep.”
“Mm.”
…
The next day, Orion took Luna out.
The servants were watching over Star.
Luna was not very reassured, “Where are we going? The new nanny doesn’t have experience taking care of infants.”
“It’s okay, she can take care of Star, and we’ll be back soon.”
Although he was handling all the wedding procedures, there were some things that Luna needed to like, such as the style of the wedding dress and the bridal makeup. She had to choose these things.
They also needed to pick out jewelry and the bride’s bouquet, which she also had to choose.
“Luna, because time is running out, we can’t have the wedding dress custom-made. We’ll just buy ready-made ones. I’ve done some research, FORUS is a foreign brand, although not custom-made, the styles are not inferior to custom-made ones. I’ve made an appointment with someone to take you there and pick some out.”
Luna actually didn’t care what kind of wedding dress to wear.
She turned to look at Orion.
Her gaze was gentle.
She tried to tell herself, she had to be good with him.
“Mm.”This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
She smiled.
Orion, seeing her smile, felt comfortable too.
He held the steering wheel with one hand, leaving the other hand free to hold hers, “Luna, thank you.”
Luna frowned slightly, “Don’t say that in the future, we are both trying.”
“Okay.”
…
At the bridal shop, the manager personally received them.
The reception room was large and uniquely decorated, simple yet detailed, spacious and bright.
The manager invited them to sit on the sofa.
“Mr. Russo, and this young lady, would you like something to drink?”
“Water will do,” Luna said.
“I’ll have the same as her,” Orion said.
The manager smiled, “Okay, I’ll have someone bring it over.”
He brought the water himself and placed it in front of them.
Then he handed them a preview brochure.
“Whenever you like a design, there will be someone to bring it to you to try on.”
Luna nodded.
She took the brochure and opened it on the table.
Orion accompanied her as she looked, but did not offer any opinions.
Luna looked at several pieces. Each one was extremely exquisite and not common in style.
“Our wedding dresses are not custom-made, but they are similar to custom-made ones. Each one is unique, designed by our professional design team. We have dedicated suppliers, and each wedding dress has a design patent, and each one has a number and a design inspiration source, just like those custom-made ones,” the manager explained.
Luna nodded, “She sees the designs.”
She also saw the inspirations the manager introduced.
She had to admit, she was overwhelmed with the glamour and beauty.
She didn’t like things that were too showy.
Looking at the designs, they were all quite flashy and not suitable for her personality.
Orion noticed she wasn’t interested, “If you don’t like them, we can look at something else.”
“I’ll keep looking.”
She hadn’t finished flipping through the brochure yet.
“What style do you like? I can help you choose,” the manager said warmly.
“I prefer something simpler,” Luna said.
“You should have said earlier, let me get another brochure for you,” the manager said.
He got up and took another brochure from the shelf in the middle.
“This is a special catalog from a well-known designer in the industry.”
He handed it to Luna, “Take a look.”
Luna took it.
She didn’t look right away, but finished the one in her hand first before continuing with the new one.
As she looked through it, the first piece caught her eye.
This piece was different from the ones in the previous brochure.
The first one was inspired by fire. Normally, with this inspiration, you would expect to see red, as flames are red.
However, the wedding dress was not red. Although it was pure white, the overall design gave you the feeling of fire.
The second page was water, clean to the extreme, and simple to the extreme.
“I want to see this one.”
The manager had someone bring it out. Each wedding dress was on a mannequin, covered in glass.
Seeing the actual dress was even more stunning than the brochure.
Luna looked and said, “Let’s go with this one.”
The manager smiled, “You have great taste, this piece has received awards.”
“Really?” Luna didn’t know.
She just liked the purity of this dress.
Perhaps the less she had, the more she wanted.
She smiled bitterly.
She returned to her seat and saw Orion looking at the brochure again.
She glanced over.
Orion said, “Luna, I think this one is good.”
Luna also saw it.
This wedding dress was dream-inspired.
The entire dress seemed complex just by looking at it, but there was a sense of order to it…
Truly dream-like…
Luna was lost in thought.
Yes, this one was good too.
Orion didn’t want to disturb her, “Do you like it?”
Luna nodded.
“I like it.”
This one was genuine.
Because this dress was different from the others.
It looked complex yet extremely simple, and it carried a sense of solemnity.
It was actually the best choice.
The manager said, “Both of these, try them on, only then can you choose the most suitable one.”
Orion agreed, “Try both of them.”
Luna thought for a moment, “Okay.”
The manager arranged for someone to help her try on the wedding dresses.
The manager and Orion waited outside.
“Mr. Russo, your bride seems to be a lady with great taste,” the manager remarked.
Orion leaned back on the sofa, “She’s very independent.”
Independent in character, independent in thought, has her own judgment.
The manager smiled, “I can see that.”
As they talked, Luna finished trying on the wedding dress.
She walked out slowly.
She was wearing the wedding dress inspired by water, which required a high demand in terms of body shape because it was simple yet highlighted the figure, and if the figure was not good enough, it would not convey the fluidity of water.
The manager’s eyes lit up, “This dress suits you very well.”
Because Luna’s daily wear was conservative and loose-fitting, her body shape was not evident. But when she put on this wedding dress, her figure was showcased to perfection.
Orion’s eyes deepened, “It’s beautiful.”
