Unforgettable love

Chapter 119

Chapter 119:.

Samuel, on the other hand, fell asleep in Dolores’ arms as he walked back to the villa.

One side of his face was still red and swollen. Dolores felt very distressed and wanted to touch him, but was afraid of hurting him.

She was very quiet and did not say a word, only wiping her tears silently from time to time.

Samuel had never been hurt before; this was the first time.

As they used to say, when the child is hurt the mother feels the pain.

Matthew looked at her in the rearview mirror. He wanted to comfort her so she wouldn’t be so distraught, but when she opened her mouth he didn’t know what to say.

He had never been a father and couldn’t understand her feelings.

The car soon stopped in front of the house.

Matthew got out and opened the door for her. He didn’t want to go out with Samuel in his arms. He reached out to take him, “Let me carry him.”

“No, I’ll hold him.” Since Samuel had been rescued, she had not been able to let go of him.

She continued to hold him, not letting anyone else take over.

Matthew looked at her for two seconds and couldn’t stand her attitude. He was her son and she could feel hurt and love him, but she kept blaming herself and feeling that this was all her fault. This was hard for her to accept.

“It wasn’t your fault; you don’t need to punish yourself.” She took Samuel in her arms stubbornly. Dolores did not want to let go of him, “What are you doing?”

“If you don’t want him to wake up, shut up!”.

Dolores lowered her voice and whispered, “He has a head wound, please be careful.”

She was afraid Matthew would hurt Samuel.

He was a big man and had no experience carrying children.

Matthew hummed lightly in response.

Dolores had lived here before and was not unfamiliar to him. Basically he hadn’t changed, he was the same as before.

After living through the day’s events, Simona was either too scared or too tired, she had fallen asleep right after Abbott brought her in. She was still asleep.

Coral had seen Jessica and Simona once, so when Abbott brought them in, she was a little surprised but then quickly became familiar with Jessica.

Abbott didn’t tell her why they were here and Coral didn’t ask. She knew Abbott was Matthew’s right hand man and was to take instructions from Matthew himself.

After seeing the two children last time, she had felt that they were like Matthew as a child. To see them again, he often went to that supermarket in the hope of seeing them and asked for their mother and father.

He couldn’t find them, even if it was every day.

Unexpectedly, they came alone.

She looked for them everywhere so that they would come to her themselves.

Coral took this opportunity to ask about the two children.

Jessica probably guessed what this place was, but she didn’t want to say much about her daughter. She just said they were her daughter’s children.

She didn’t mention anything else.

Coral couldn’t figure anything out.

“Why don’t you sit down?” Coral got up and wanted to show Jessica a picture of Matthew, when the front door of the cottage was pushed open.

Matthew walked in with Samuel in his arms. Dolores followed him. Unconsciously, as was her habit, she opened the shoe closet and took out some sneakers. She knew which ones were Matthew’s and placed them in front of him.

Matthew looked down and looked at her, “You haven’t forgotten yet.”

Dolores paused. She had only been there less than a month and she still remembered the slippers.

She raised her head calmly and said, “I remember everything I’ve seen.”

Jessica stood up from the couch and looked at Matthew, and then her eyes finally settled on her daughter.

Coral watched the two of them walk in, Matthew with Samuel in his arms and Dolores walking beside him. Her mouth dropped open and she looked up at Jessica, “This is your daughter?”

Jessica nodded.

Coral seemed to understand it all in an instant, and found it strange that Jessica didn’t want to talk about the children.

Since her daughter gave birth to her children after a divorce, she must have felt angry that the children’s father had abandoned her daughter and must not have wanted to bring it up.

In Coral’s mind, Dolores’ children are Matthew’s.

Coral remembered that six years ago she was pregnant.

Although they were separated at first, they had slept in the same room the first night they were married.noveldrama

Also, her time estimates seemed correct, and the children are five or six years old.

The room downstairs belonged to Matthew. After Dolores left, he still used it, but he didn’t spend much time in the villa after what happened.

“I’ll take him to the room to sleep.” Matthew said.

Dolores nodded in response.

“Lola.” Jessica had a lot to ask Dolores, she couldn’t help but call out to her impatiently.

Dolores stood in the hallway, not entering the house, “Let’s go outside and talk.”

“Okay.” After all, this was not his house and there were other people present.

He changed his shoes at the door and followed Dolores.

The front yard of the villa was covered with a large lawn with soft green grass. Next to the plants was a rockery through which water ran. Underneath was a pond full of ornamental fish, peculiar-looking green fish with long tails; they looked like some rare and valuable species.

At the front was a round table, four rattan chairs and an umbrella.

Dolores pulled a chair close to Jessica.

Jessica sat down.

“What the hell is going on, why did Doctor Herbert suddenly kidnap us and why are you still with him? You are divorced, you are no longer related to each other, was it because Doctor Herbert found out about this that he became hateful and did all this?”

Jessica asked a series of questions in a whisper, expressing her thoughts.

Dolores shook her head, “No.”

She had already told Sampson that she was willing to try to be with him. Then, because of her sister, she had made it clear to him that it was impossible for them to be together. Not only was there no love between them, but her mother and sister were standing between them.

“Why then?” Jessica suddenly thought of something, “Have you told him that his mother asked you to stay away?”

“No.” Dolores clenched her hands into fists. She didn’t know how to tell Jessica what she had done to her.

It was really hard to tell.

“Then why?” How could a person change so much and so suddenly? Jessica was confused.

She had been thinking about it continuously on the way to the villa.

But she still couldn’t understand why she became like this.

“Mom, you know I don’t like it at all.” Dolores’ fists were clenching tighter and tighter, her palms damp and sticky with sweat. Only after getting to this point with Sampson was she able to tell the truth.

She told Jessica what Sampson tried to do to her.

Jessica rose from her chair in shock, “What?”

“How could he do something like that?”

Dolores hadn’t been able to believe it at first either, but after careful thought she could understand.

He liked her and Maria liked Matthew.

If he ruined her, Maria would still have a chance to be with Matthew.

For his sister’s happiness he was willing to do even something like that.

Jessica sat, shocked for a long time, and then said, “It’s true that we can know a person for years, but we still don’t know what goes on in their heart.”

As the saying went, you really didn’t know what was in someone’s heart.

“What about you and Matthew?” Jessica asked again after her emotions stabilized a bit. She looked at her daughter, “Don’t you like him?”.
