Uncle's Love: My Sweet Little Wife

Chapter 68 Don't Shove Him

Chapter 68 Don't Shove Him

On the first day of class, Kara was assigned to clean a studio.

There was a small studio on the second floor. It was filled with easels and debris. When Kara entered

into it, her mind went blank.

"If you can't clean it up today, don't leave!" Master Larry said coldly as he stood outside.

Kara swallowed hard, with her forehead covered in sweat. "I will clean it as soon as possible."

She never did housework before. Now she ran back and forth, doing cleaning and dumping wastes.

One of the students stepped forward in an attempt to help her but was stopped by Larry.

"Do you finish your own thing? You still have time to care about others' business," Master Larry asked

coldly.

Noticing Master Larry treated Kara specially, people didn't dare to make trouble so they immediately

turned away.

Kara stood confusedly.

After meeting Master Larry's sharp gaze, she ran upstairs hurriedly.

"Little girl!" Master Larry snorted coldly.

She had cleaned up more than half of the studio, and there were still some large easels that she

couldn't lift. Kara paced around worriedly.

"Drink some water first."

It was the middle-aged man who brought her to the studio and guided her to see Master Larry. He

handed over a glass of water.

"Thank you," Kara said gratefully. She was really thirsty.

After drinking the water, she wiped her face with her sleeves. The dirt on her sleeves stained her face,

making her look like a dirty kitten.

"I am Frankie Smith, the manager of this place and the curator of the painting hall. What's your name?"

"My name is Kara. Hello, Uncle Frankie." She said politely.

"Veronica is your mother?" Frankie was surprised.

Veronica was his classmate and now her daughter was at this age. Frankie sigh inwardly.

"Yes, you know my mother?"

Kara was puzzled. After thinking for a while, she said, "My mother was also a student of Master Larry.

However..."

Kara bit her lips when she thought of her mother. She felt depressed and her eyes unconsciously

turned red.

Frankie saw it and sighed. He took out a wet tissue and handed it to her.

"I have attended your mother's funeral." Frankie also felt a little sad and then walked into the studio to

help her.

"Do you know why your teacher asked you to clean this studio alone?"

Kara shook her head and stared at him with wide eyes.

"He said that you are going to enter into University A so this classroom will be yours," Frankie

explained.

"Really? Here?"

When Kara imagined having classes in this room, her eyes shone brightly, like bright stars.

She was cheered up and quickly cleaned out the large objects in the room. The wallpaper had peeled

off, so she ran out to buy new ones and pasted them on the wall.

She looked around, took out her phone, and bought a bunch of things online.

Frankie looked at the clean and bright studio and couldn't help but sigh, "This room belonged to your

mother."

Kara opened her eyes wide. She was surprised that she would actually use the same studio with her

mother.

"Then I will definitely enter into the University!"

"I believed in you!"

Frankie looked at the little girl who clenched her fists in her chest in high spirits and laughed.

James came to pick Kara after work. He frowned unhappily when he saw that Kara was like a dirty

kitten.

He walked up to her. When he found bloodstains on her little hand, his face turned gloomy.

"Why are you injured?"

Kara turned around and saw him. She happily ran to him. "Uncle James, I cleaned up this studio."

"I'm asking you why you are injured."

James grasped her hand with a sullen face. There were scratches on the back of her hand and her skin

was wrinkled because her fingers were put in the water for too long time.

"When did I cut my finger?"

Kara looked down and found the cuts on the back of her hand. 'I must accidentally cut myself during

the cleaning-up.' She thought.

James looked at her puzzled expression and turned gloomier.

"You're injured. How could you let your hand touch water? Silly!"

Kara was frightened by his freezing voice and looked at him timidly. She wanted to pull her hand back.

"Uncle James, I'm fine. They're minor injuries." NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.

"Small injuries can also get infected!"

James didn't want to say anymore but forcefully pulled her away.

"Uncle James, I'm okay. I haven't tidied up the studio yet. I can't leave." Kara struggled as she was

pulled into the car.

"Be quiet!" James was irritated and commanded.

Kara was intimidated by him. She pressed her lips and sat down beside him quietly.

James wore a serious face and asked the driver to find a pharmacy. The driver was also frightened. He

started the car as soon as he got the order.

The car pulled beside the nearest private clinic and James took her inside.

The private clinic was small. There were only a doctor and a nurse. The doctor was chatting with a

female patient.

After finding there were only a few minor cuts on the back of Kara's hand, the doctor casually

prescribed a bottle of potion, asking her to apply it on her hand.

"Just this?"

Noticing his casual attitude, James knitted his eyebrows and became serious.

"Yes, it's not a serious injury. Wipe some disinfectant and don't touch the water," The doctor answered

and turned to chat with the female patient again.

James gritted his teeth and pulled Kara to sit down. He placed Kara's small hand on his leg and gently

wiped the wound with disinfectant. Kara frowned and endured, with her nose covered in a cold sweat.

"Now you know it hurts!"

"I was wrong, Uncle James."

She pouted in grievances.

There were only a few scratches on her hands but her hands were white because staying in the water

for too long.

She felt a burning on her hand and bit her lips in pain.

James let out a snort.

Will had warned him that Kara was extremely weak. She could not get injured again. Even a fever

might take her life away.

James stared painfully at the cleaned cut, worried that it would be infected. He got up and asked the

doctor to give him some medicine for bandages.

The doctor grew fretful, took out two bandages, and threw them at him.

James looked at the band-aid that fell to the ground. His expression was gloomy and cold, and his cold

eyes were sinister.

"I'm asking for some medicine. Are you deaf? A quack!"

Being called a quack, the doctor was immediately enraged and reached out to push James.

"What are you talking about!"

Kara saw the doctor was about to push James. She stood up nervously and ran in front of James like a

little beast protecting food.

"Go away! Don't shove him!"

Even Kara looked aggressive, but she was just a little girl. The doctor sneered disdainfully.

"He needs to learn to shut up. If he apologizes to me, I'll let him go."

When James heard that this man wanted him to apologize, he revealed a sarcastic smile.

He could beat him down with one hand.

But he didn't bother to do it!

"My Uncle James is right. You're a quack!"

Kara saw when the doctor was chatting with the female patient, his eyes were fixed on the female

patient's chest.

Uncle James had been trying to speak with him nicely but he retorted impatiently. It was he who should

be taught a lesson.

Kara was annoyed.
