Trapped pregnant with a Billionaire child

Complicated

Marco fell silent as he watched Letta sitting quietly, staring out of the window. He had intentionally come today to pick up Letta and move her from the apartment to the prepared residence. Marco eventually walked slowly towards Letta.

“What are you doing?” Marco asked, but Letta remained unmoved, her gaze empty and fixed ahead. Marco let out a long sigh, despite the doctor’s advice for Letta not to stress or think too much, it seemed Letta was not heeding the doctor’s warning from yesterday.

“Letta,” Marco asked again, tapping Letta’s shoulder, finally causing Letta to shake her head before getting up from her seat without even glancing at Marco.

“I’ll get ready,” Letta said, making Marco feel a little puzzled. Letta’s uncommunicative and contradictory behavior was unusual. Marco didn’t say much more, just watching Letta heading to the bathroom to change. He noticed the bag Letta had previously brought and the phone seemingly prepared for her return today.

“Let’s go now,” Letta said, making Marco nod. Letta’s residence felt silent as they journeyed towards her apartment. Upon arriving at Letta’s apartment building, Marco immediately opened the door and followed Letta to her small apartment. However, Letta halted at the threshold, and Marco followed suit.

“I want to be alone in my apartment, so you can go,” Letta said, leaving Marco feeling confused.

“I came to escort you to move to the home I’ve prepared,” Marco said. Letta remained silent, showing no expression as usual.

“I will comply with your request after I think about it. Didn’t I say before that I can’t just move from this small apartment like that?” Letta said, making Marco take a long deep breath.

“Didn’t I already say that this place is not good for the development of the fetus in your womb? If you move to the prepared house, there are servants who will take care of you. There’s also food and all the necessities you need,” Marco said, finally making Letta look into his eyes for the first time since they left the hospital earlier.

“I need some time alone, so please understand,” Letta said as she was about to close the apartment door. But of course, Marco couldn’t stay silent. He immediately held her back, causing Letta to push with all her might, knowing her effort would be futile as the door swung back open, making Letta step back.

“What’s really happening with you? What’s the matter? Are you still thinking about the mistakes you made because of your condition yesterday? If so, forget about it. You can make up for it by paying attention to the development of the fetus. What’s more, that’s why I brought you to move right now,” Marco said, causing Letta to shake her head.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“Not only that, my problems are too many and too complicated. That’s why I can’t think clearly about it. But you keep insisting like this, forcing me. Why do you always impose your will without considering my own opinion? This is my baby, I’m the one feeling it, and I’m the one carrying it. So I know better what I need right now,” Letta said, making Marco look at her with raised eyebrows.

“Is that so? Then what happened to you yesterday? Was it because you also understood your condition that you experienced those cramps? You didn’t even involve me as the father of the fetus,” Marco said, making Letta silent for a moment.

“If you care about the fetus, you better comply with what I say, because I care about both of you,” Marco said, finally making Letta turn around, but Marco immediately prevented her by holding her arm.

“I’m not done talking to you, Letta,” Marco said.

“What now? If I have to follow your request, at least I have to think about this apartment. I have to think about my belongings, and I have to think about my future,” Letta reiterated, being the type of person who likes to think further ahead in her life, especially now that she is alone. Marco, whose emotions were triggered, pressed Letta’s shoulder quite firmly.

“What are you thinking about? Thinking about your next life, thinking about your future. Didn’t I say that I would support you and the fetus?” Marco said, pulling Letta closer to him, leaving Letta speechless. And then someone laughed cynically, looking in their direction, making Letta immediately turn to Mia, who had been there near them for who knows how long.

“Mia,” Letta muttered, making Mia immediately look at them with an unfriendly gaze. Letta realized that Mia might have overheard their conversation.

“So this is your reason for breaking up with Abian?” Mia asked, making Letta slightly startled. Abian must have told everything to Mia, Letta thought. Mia stepped closer towards Marco and Letta.

“So you really ended your love, which you said Abian was everything to you and also your happiness, by dating your former boss? Or maybe that’s your reason for leaving the company, because you don’t want other employees to look at you suspiciously for seducing your own boss,” Mia said, as if she didn’t care that she was mocking her own boss. It was as if she was risking her job, while Marco remained silent, gazing at Mia, who supposedly was his employee, but Marco couldn’t remember having an employee named Mia or in which department.

“I really didn’t expect you to be such a cruel woman. You didn’t even say anything earlier about yourself. The last I heard was that you were waiting for Abian’s arrival, that you missed him, and you were eager to meet him. That’s all. But the news that Abian told me really makes it hard for me to believe. That’s why I came to make sure what you told him. I hope Abian was just talking nonsense because I really believe in my own friend who has never hidden anything from me. But all of this really disappoints me, even beyond my expectations. This really surprises me, Letta,” Mia said, looking at Letta with disappointment, making Letta, for some reason, feel her heart constricting. Not just because of Abian, but also because of her own friend, and it was all because of her own actions.
