Can you investigate this?
Marco immediately stopped his conversation with Mr. Tukal when he felt that Letta had been gone from the restroom for too long. He swiftly turned towards the path where Letia had gone, but as Marco was about to make a turn, Letta suddenly appeared and collided with him forcefully.
“Darling, what’s wrong? Why did you take so long in the restroom?” Marco asked, but the next moment, his eyes widened as he saw Letta looking terrified, with sweat streaming down her face and her hands trembling.
“What’s happening? Is something bothering or hurting you? Are you in pain?” Marco asked, cupping Letta’s face as she looked at him with a puzzled expression.
“I want to go home, I want to go home now, ‘ Letta said in a quavering voice, leaving Marco unsure of what was truly happening with his wife.
“Tell me, is there someone bothering you? If there is, I’ll deal with them right now,” Marco said, making Letta shake her head.
“I want to go home now. Please take me home quickly,” Letta pleaded, causing Marco to feel unsatisfied as he hadn’t yet seen anyone hurting his wife.
“No, I can’t take you home before I know what’s going on. Tell me where the culprit is,” Marco asked again, until finally Letta felt her head throbbing intensely.
“I said, I want to go home. Please take me away from this place quickly,” Letta cried out, her breath racing, her face growing paler, and her lips trembling, leaving Marco speechless. Marco didn’t know what was truly happening with his wife, until he embraced Letta and took her through the back door of the building while calling Pedro to prepare his car. Pedro promptly parked the car behind the building as Marco came out with Letta. Marco immediately wrapped Letta’s body in his jacket before they got into the car. During the journey, Letta even gripped his shirt tightly, her body still trembling despite Marco holding her tightly.
“Everything will be alright, we’re heading home now. You can calm down, okay?” Marco said, making Letta nod weakly.
“What actually happened?” Marco asked, making Letta shake her head.
“It feels like my head is about to explode right now,” Letta said, causing Marco to furrow his brow.
“What’s happening, is it some kind of illness?” Marco asked, making Letta pray, and that was when Marco widened his eyes again as he saw tears streaming down his wife’s face.
“Hey, why? Is someone really bothering you? I’ll have Pedro take care of it,” Marco said, but Letta didn’t respond. Instead, she cried softly in Marco’s embrace, leaving him speechless, not understanding what was truly happening with his wife.
“I feel sick,” Letta said, furrowing Marco’s brow.
“I feel pain. But I don’t know why, I’m scared, and my head really feels like it’s about to explode right now,” Letta said, still in Marco’s embrace, making Marco finally sigh. It was pointless to ask about what was happening to Letta right now because she still seemed so shaken. Marco was curious about what had happened to make Letta like this. He regretted letting Letta go alone, as he should not have let his wife wander without his supervision.
“I’m sorry for leaving you alone. If only I had accompanied you to the restroom earlier, this wouldn’t have happened,” Marco said.
“I feel like my body won’t stop spinning, and I don’t know why my body feels so shaky like this,” Letta said, making Marco stroke her shoulder.
“Relax, everything will be alright. I’m here with you right now, I won’t let anything bad happen to you. We’ll go home and see Freya, okay?” Marco said, making Letta nod her head. Letta also didn’t know why she was crying so much, as if she was truly hurt just by remembering the words of the man she had just met, but that man truly made her feel like this. Letta was curious about the kind of relationship she had with that man, but she didn’t want to hear his explanations that made her heart feel even more suffocated.
That’s why Letta chose to leave him and meet Marco, even though she actually wanted to hear more from that man and find out about his previous life. What about a Letta before meeting Marco, Letta wanted to at least get an idea of her lost memories, but only by looking into his teary eyes, looking so worried, and his sweet words, Letta truly felt suffocated. Did she hurt that man before, or was he her family, and Letta was too tired to think about it all, until her head throbbed intensely, her tears couldn’t be contained, her eyes started to feel heavy, and finally she fell asleep in Marco’s embrace.
Meanwhile, Marco, realizing that his wife looked tired from crying, began to look at Pedro, who was now focused on the road ahead.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
“Can you investigate this? I know something happened to Letta when she was not with me earlier. She was heading to the restroom, and suddenly she came back in this condition. I want to know what’s troubling her and who the culprit is that has disturbed my wife,” Marco said, making Pedro glance at the rearview mirror, looking at his master, then nodding his head.
“Very well, sir. I will find out. Tomorrow, I will start reviewing the CCTV footage around to determine what actually happened to Madam,” Pedro said, making Marco nod. Marco fell silent as he looked at his shirt, which appeared damp from Letta’s tears. It had been a long time since Letta shed tears of sorrow like this. But who had dared to reopen his wife’s feelings of sadness.
Marco then reached out his hand to stroke Letta’s still warm eyes, her reddened nose making Marco clench his fist. Who dared to make Letta cry like this. Marco sighed deeply, until they arrived in front of the large house, where Marco immediately carried Letta inside, ignoring the curious gaze of the servants, as well as when he passed Desi.
“Has Freya fallen asleep?” Marco asked, making Desi nod.
“Yes, since earlier, sir. Miss Freya has been sleeping soundly. She just asked for milk a while ago but fell asleep again,” Desi said, making Marco nod.
“Alright, then you can rest,” Marco said, making Desi nod before glancing at Letta in Marco’s arms and continuing her steps to go down to her own room. Meanwhile, Marco went straight into his large bedroom, looking at Freya who was already asleep in his bed right next to Letta’s. After that, he gently laid Letta on the bed. Marco looked at his wife’s face, still very pale, even the traces of tears still very evident on her face, prompting Marco to reach out. But before Marco could touch her face, Letta suddenly furrowed her brow.
“Abian,” Letta murmured, sounding like a whisper, but Marco could hear it clearly. Marco immediately felt his heart pounding rapidly. Of course, Marco remembered that name, the name of the man from Letta’s past. But why could Letta remember and even mention that man’s name? What had actually happened to his wife? Was it because it had been so long since Marco had given Letta her medication, so her memory was slowly returning, Marco thought, starting to feel uneasy about Letta’s current condition.
