At the same time, there was a bang. Cadmus's gunshot accurately went through Nora's body.

"Aunt Nora!" Stefan's mind went blank when he saw his aunt, who had always doted on him, collapse in front of him.

Stefan said nothing else. He carried Nora, who was lying in a pool of blood, in his arms. His eyes turned teary. "I'll save you! Hold on."

He carried Nora and walked out of the building. Cadmus and Tiger wanted to stop him, but Justin warned them with a threatening look.

"I'll go with you!" Justin felt that he had something to do with Nora's accident. He wanted to see her safe since he was guilty.

"That's unnecessary!" Stefan turned around. Fierceness and resentment shone in his eyes. He stared at Justin coldly. "You'd better pray my aunt is safe. If not, I'll kill the entire Baldwin family, even if I have to pay with my life!"

He wasn't joking. Instead, he was making a statement. Both families had been arguing fiercely but did not get into a fight, largely because Stefan did not intend to do so.

He knew very well that there wasn't a significant conflict of interest between both families. However, many other forces wanted them to fight each other. Only then would a new power rise.

Hence, Stefan suppressed his resentment and hoped both families could keep the peace without meddling in each other's business.

Cadmus realized that they had made things worse. He put his hands together and got down on one knee. He gnashed his teeth and said, "Please punish us. It's fine even if you kill us."

"Just wait!" Justin said angrily. "If anything happens to Ms. Hunt, you guys have to kill yourself to answer for it!"

He had long investigated Stefan and the Hunt family. He knew Nora was the vice president of the business department, a significant figure for Hunt Enterprise and Stefan.
