Inside the conference room, Nancy looked up curiously as Lenard walked in. "Where's Mr. Potter?"

Lenard silently added, "Hopefully far away," but kept it to himself, not wanting to upset Nancy. With a sigh, he sat down, still visibly annoyed.

"Nancy, what do you think of Potter?" he asked.

"You mean professionally? He's quite talented," Nancy replied honestly.

Relieved, Lenard studied Nancy's clear eyes. It seemed she wasn't interested in Potter at all. If he were in her shoes, he'd choose Judson too-charming, sweet, and, let's be honest, quite the looker with a knack for standing up for himself.

Seeing Nancy switch to work mode, Potter quickly pushed aside his personal feelings. "Of course." Nancy pulled out a stack of design sketches from her briefcase. "These are my base designs. This upcoming show doubles as a star-studded awards gala."

Her lips curled into a small smile. "The celebrities might not walk with a model's grace, but their fan base is massive."

She pointed to one of the sketches with her elegant fingers. "This is the gown and jewelry set I've designed for the finale, and the theme is 'Subtle Elegance.""

As Nancy spoke, Potter's eyes lit up at the sight of the sketches. Even Lenard was taken aback, his eyes widening in surprise. "Nancy, did you come up with this just recently?"
