The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

43

Calvin chose chopper to leave instead of trekking by carrying Roselet in his arms for hours. He didn’t mind trekking as well, but he had a doubt that a female werewolf whom he didn’t want anywhere his daughter might follow them after learning the whole truth.

After shifting back into a human form, one by one, everyone started climbing on it. While Calvin was climbing up, Roselet looked around in search of her mommy.

‘Where are you, Mommy? Can’t you hear the sound of chopper?’ She thought.

“Let’s go,” Calvin ordered to the pilot, sensing Ethlyn and hearing this; her hope died to meet her mommy.

While Ethlyn ran as fast as she could, she could just speak in her wolf form. She shifted into human form, still running in wolf form, to call Roselet’s name, because of which she fell down and got injured.

“Rossseeee” She cried loudly when she saw the chopper start flying higher a little, ready to leave. “Roseeee”

Little did she know her pup couldn’t hear her because of the sound of the chopper and also because she hadn’t received her wolf’s power. She was just a human pup, but Calvin could hear her cries clearly, but he didn’t care.

“Alpha Calvin… let me meet my pup.” She yelled, standing on her feet and running in human form. “Alphaaaa…” In the next second, the chopper started flying toward its destination, and Ethlyn followed it like a maniac.

“Alphaaaa…. I beg you.” She shouted, looking at the sky.

‘Cry as much as you want, Ethlyn Smith. Your mother did the same to you.’ He thought, recalling how his princess was crying when he saw her.

Ethlyn followed the chopper, looking up into the sky, crying, begging Calvin to let her meet Roselet, and calling Roselet’s name multiple times. Unaware of this, Rose placed her head on her father’s chest and yawned.

“Sleep, love,” Calvin mumbled, caressing her hair.

Ethlyn kept running without looking around until she ran into a tree as the chopper was above the forest. She fell down and looked chopper, moving away from her eyesight. So, she shifted and started running again. She kept running behind until another wolf jumped in front of her, and two wolves jumped on her to stop her from running further.

‘Cinder, stop!! There is no ground to run now.’ Nathan mind linked her, and that was when Cinder saw that if she wouldn’t have been stopped timely, then she would have jumped from the mountain. Cinder didn’t have any other option than watching the chopper, leaving her eyesight helplessly.Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

She let out a painful howl for not getting a chance to meet her daughter.

It was pack warriors at the patrol who informed Nathan about Ethlyn running like a maniac behind the chopper, but it wasn’t a car that she could chase easily. He immediately ordered them to stop her because she ended up doing something stupid and ran in the same direction where they informed Ethlyn was running. At the same, he mind-linked Ethlyn’s family members about it.

“Ethlyn, have you gone mad? What were you thinking? Trying to catch a chopper?” Reva asked and shook her head at the stupidity of her sister.

“My pup, Reva. I couldn’t meet my Rose. I couldn’t get a chance to hold her in my arm, Reva. I think this is my punishment for pushing her away every time when she used to call me ‘Mommy.'” Ethlyn blabbered, feeling sad. But she also knew that she couldn’t waste her time feeling sad. She quickly stood up on her legs, ready to leave.

“Where’re you going now?” Reva asked.

“Blood Moon Pack.”

“What?” Reva asked in shock.

“What did Alpha Calvin think? That if he wouldn’t let me meet my pup here, then I can’t come to his pack. I will. And I would. And no one can stop me from doing so. I want my pup. I want my pup with me, Reva.” She kept speaking until her eyes landed on her parents, who she ignored as if they were not there, and then on Zordan, who was standing, leaning against the tree, observing everything.

Calvin didn’t want Zordan to come with him and suggested spending some time with his mate rather than giving priority to his Beta duties. He knew Calvin had a reason for not letting Roselet meet her mother for the last time before leaving. He was scared that Roselet wouldn’t be able to leave without crying, and the other part was part of him who knew that after knowing the truth, Ethlyn might want her pup. After all, it was never her who left her pup. And he didn’t want all this to happen in front of Roselet.

And after watching everything, Zordan knew that Calvin was right about his prediction.

“Are you serious, Ethlyn? Do you think Alpha Calvin would be standing at the entrance of his pack to welcome you? You’re thinking of meeting Rose in his area. Like really?” Reva asked the question which Abigail mind linked her because it didn’t look like Ethlyn wanted to hear anything from her parents, at least not when she knew because of her parents, she had to go through all this now.

“I won’t know until I try,” Ethlyn responded and started leaving. After walking for a while, she shifted into her wolf form and ran from there.

Reva was going to run behind her along with her parents when Zordan spoke, “There is no use of wasting your time in running behind Ethlyn.”

“What? What do you mean? You want us to leave Ethlyn on her own?” Abigail asked when Zordan glared at her.

“Do you think, after doing everything, you have any right to say that?” Zordan asked rudely and looked at Reva. “Let Ethlyn do what she wants and let Calvin do whatever he wants.”
