The Bigger Picture
Chapter 21 The Bigger Picture
The informer nodded, his face grim. “We’re already on it, sir,” he said. “We’ve got our best men working on it, but it’s going to take time.”
“Time is something we don’t have,” Ramos said, his fists clenched at his sides. “This is a direct threat to my operations, and I won’t allow it to stand.”
“I understand, sir,” the informer said, his voice calm and reassuring. “But we need to be careful, and not act rashly. We could make things worse if we don’t handle this the right way.”
“You’re right,” Ramos said, trying to rein in his emotions. “I just can’t believe this is happening. The warehouse was so secure, I never thought anyone could get in.”
“It seems that someone was able to find a way,” the informer said. “We need to figure out who, and how.”NôvelDrama.Org owns this.
“We should start with the security footage,” Ramos said, his thoughts racing. “We may be able to see who did this, and how they got in. We can also use it to figure out where they went.”
“That’s a good idea,” the informer said, his eyes lighting up. “I’ll get someone on it right away. In the meantime, we should also look into the staff at the warehouse.
There may be someone who’s been acting suspiciously, or who’s been behaving differently lately.”
“We should also check their backgrounds,” Ramos said, his mind racing. “If anyone has a history of violence or theft, they might be our culprit.”
“I’ll start running checks on all of them immediately,” the informer said, pulling out his phone and starting to type. “And in the meantime, we should also check to see if any of the drugs were taken from the warehouse before this happened. If we can figure out when the theft started, we might be able to narrow down our suspect pool.”
“I will find whoever is involved and will end them and end their mystery.” Ramos said.
“I understand your frustration, but we have to be careful not to act in anger,” the informer said, his voice soft but firm.
“If we do something rash, we could end up making things worse. We need to be methodical and meticulous in our approach.”
“I don’t care what you think! I will get the bastard who thought he could rob from me. And feed him to my hungry sharks this I promise.
I will find out who their mole is and brutally kill the mole and send his head to whoever is involved that I am coming for them.
“Then I will find those Sanchez family and make them pay for ever thinking they can face me and take what is mine.” Ramos said boiling with rage.
“They think that they can hurt me, but I will make sure I hurt them more.” Ramos said.
“I understand your anger,” the informer said, trying to calm him down. “But if you act out of emotion, you’ll make mistakes. We need to think rationally and strategically if we’re going to win this.”
“I know, I know,” Ramos said, running his hand through his hair in frustration. “But I can’t let them get away with this. I need to make them pay for what they’ve done.”
“I understand,” the informer said, his voice soothing. “But we need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture.
“What bigger picture? They took what was mine and almost killed me. How is that not the bigger picture. Do you want to die like your fellow colleague who spoke his mind and met his end?” Ramos threatened.
“No sir!” The informer said as he went down on his knee begging.
“I’m sorry for saying that sir, please forgive me.”
“The bigger picture is to kill those Sanchez family and bring back my bride and show others who stole from me that they are no match for me. That if they tried to steal from me again, they would meet their end……
