Chapter 346 Confronting Elias
How is that possible?!
She didn’t believe Stephanie’s claim at all, nor could she believe it. Elias would never do something like this and besides, Stephanie was Amanda’s sister now. Even if Stephanie had been a stranger, he would never sleep with just any woman.
Amanda paused for several seconds before letting out a cold laugh. “Do you think I will believe you? He never touched you when he had the right to do so, so why would he do it now? Even if you don’t like me, you shouldn’t involve Elias in this!”
Stephanie was completely dumbfounded by their skepticism. Is my claim that unbelievable, or is his usual public image so uptight that everyone thinks he will never do such a thing?
She was nearly mad with anger and wanted to cry. “Why don’t any of you believe me? It’s the truth. The man who you think would never do anything wrong has slept with me! See? This is the message he sent me last night. He asked me to go over!”
Stephanie was so angry that her hand shook as she pulled out her phone, opening her chat history for everyone to see. However, she found that all of it was now mysteriously gone.
“How is that possible? Why is it gone? Elias was the one who sent the message and I didn’t delete it, so why is it gone?” She panicked and didn’t know what to do other than go through her phone, yet she couldn’t
find it.
Amanda felt that Stephanie was showing signs of madness and suggested, “Alright. You’d best stop looking for it. Since you’re so certain it was Elias last night, just invite him here to interrogate him.
Everyone knows that he will never deny something he has done.
Up to now, Amanda still didn’t believe Elias would do something like this and refused to believe a word of Stephanie’s claim.
“Fine! I want to confront him! I want to ask why he treated me that way last night!” Stephanie was frantic and wanted to know what Elias had been up to the night before and whether he had treated her that way because he liked her.
“Enough! Do you think this isn’t embarrassing enough? Does everyone have to know about this?” Jack shouted, feeling that his youngest daughter might have been toyed around by some disgusting man. He wanted to go to that hotel and check the footage.
“Dad!” Stephanie burst into tears of anger.
However, Amanda remained calm. “Dad, Elias isn’t really an outsider. However, we do have to clarify the whole thing without blaming the wrong person or letting Stephanie be humiliated like that.”
They had to investigate this, or Stephanie would act out even more.
Jack did not say anything else, while Edith felt helpless and didn’t know what to do with matters like these. She only went along with what Amanda had said.
Amanda took out her phone, only to realize Elias had called her multiple times last night, but she hadn’t picked up at all. She called him back and when it connected, his lazy yet seductive voice came through as if he wasn’t fully awake yet.
“Hmm? What is it?”
“Where are you? Come to the Allegra Villa. Something important has come up.”
The man fell silent for several seconds. “I’ll be there soon.”
Beep.
Amanda frowned after hanging up. What has he been up to that he is not even awake at this time? It didn’t seem like Elias usual behavior since he would usually rise early as long as it wasn’t a weekend.
Stephanie became anxious as she watched Amanda call Elias, and she blushed slightly as she recalled what had happened the night before.
Everyone soon gathered in the living room to wait for Elias, their expressions all unhappy aside from Stephanie. She was already imagining how she could greet him when he arrived later; he might admit to what he had done last night. They would have to withstand great pressure while facing her parents as well as Amanda.
It was a tormenting thought but if Elias remained stoutly on her side, she would stand firm no matter what just like how she had been loyal to Crispin. No… I’ll be even more loyal than that!
The butler headed over and couldn’t help asking a question after sensing the tense atmosphere. “Sir, shall we start lunch preparations now?”
There’s no need. Tell everyone to take the day off and rest. No one is allowed to interrupt the conversation later.” Jack’s expression was thunderous.
The butler didn’t know what had happened, but he could sense that it was extremely important. Nodding. he turned and left. There were only the four of them left in the Allegra Villa now, all waiting for Elias” arrival in order to carry out the ridiculous interrogation
After a while, footsteps sounded outside the house, indicating that Elias had probably arrived. Everyone didn’t show much reaction aside from Stephanie, who sat up with an unconscious smile. She even fluffed her hair.
Elias felt strange when he entered the house since there weren’t any helpers at all. Are they all on leave?
There was also the smell of gunpowder in the air, which made him frown as he headed straight to the living room. He found the Allegras all there, including Amanda. Have they been waiting for me?
Elias stepped into the living room, his gaze landing on Amanda first as his tone clearly softened. “Why did you invite me here?”
“There’s something important!” She stood up and approached him before looking up into his handsome face. It was no surprise that Stephanie had wayward thoughts about him since no woman could resist his looks. But….
Amanda demanded coldly. “Why haven’t you woken up at this time? This isn’t your usual style.”
He glanced at the expressions everyone wore before replying seriously. “I slept late, so I got up late. Why?”
Amanda looked back at Stephanie. “Which hotel was it?” Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
Stephanie didn’t even dare look up and meet Elias’ eyes as she murmured shyly, “Cloudview Hotel.”
Jack and Edith listened intently as Amanda interrogated Elias, refusing to believe that the young man would do such a shameless thing

Cloudview Hotel? Why does it sound familiar?
Suddenly. Elias remembered the banquet he had attended last night which seemed to have taken place at the hotel. What a coincidence! He had a bad feeling that something had gone down.
Amanda turned to him again. “What about you? Where have you been and what have you done last night?”
He didn’t like her attitude at all but replied honestly, “Cloudview Hotel, where I was attending a banquet. What do you want to say?”
