Chapter 286 Chief Hoyle.
Chapter 286 Chief Hoyle.
Annie was like in her happy land once she arrived home and she asked: “Grandma, where’s my puppy?”
Alan Hoyle asked Olive Steele, “You guys have a puppy?”
“In the balcony,” Olive then turned to Alan, “Yeah, it’s a Chihuahua.”
Alan followed Annie to the dog who was all white and was sitting beside the flowerpot.
“You’re raising them well.” Alan looked at the goldfish and said to Olive’s father.
“I do?” Olive’s father was happy, “You have goldfish, too?”
And then the two men started to talk about it.
Chloe Malan, who was sitting on the couch to paint her toenail, glanced at the balcony and then turned t Olive who was helping her mother in the kitchen, “Girl, you man can flatter.”
“What, you jealous?” Olive smiled.
“Bah, the hell.”
Olive’s mother then took the vegetables in Olive’s hands and said: “Okay, you’re done here, go back to the living room and rest with them.”
“Well, I’m fine, mom. Let me handle the rest, it’s not tiring.” Olive pushed her mother out of the kitchen.
She liked to cook for her family because she thought it was warm to cook for those she loved, and with Alan came back to her side, Olive was in a very good mood.
“You want me to help?” Alan came to the kitchen and asked.
Just before Olive could say anything, Chloe cut in, “Gee, you sure you will not burn the kitchen down? Mr. Hoyle?”
Alan turned around and smiled, “It seemed that I need to show you what I got.”
“Well, show us then.” Chloe shrugged and spoke to Olive, “Olive, girl, quickly, move your ass for the chief.”
Hearing their conversation, Olive sighed and was kicked out of the kitchen.
As a matter of fact, Chloe was just trying to embarrass Alan, but it never occurred to her that the man would really take over the job all by himself.
In her memory, those rich people, like Bruce Lynn, were all useless in household duties, especially the old lady in the Lynn family. All she did was shopping and playing mahjong with several rich ladies.
So not to mention the eldest son of the Hoyle family that was much wealthier than the Lynns. This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.
Hearing the cutting sound came from the kitchen, Chloe raised her voice, “Mr. Hoyle, try not to cut your finger, or Olive here would kill me for that.”
“Oh, you two.” Olive gave her a glare.
Annie hugged the Chihuahua to the kitchen and added fuel to the situation, “Uncle weirdo, I want rabbit meal.”
“Rabbit meal?” Alan was confused, “You mean like a carrot? But we don’t have carrots here, sweetheart.”
“You dummy,” Annie then tried to explain, “Mommy could make me rabbit meal without carrots! It’s just a meal with the shape of the rabbit.”
Looking at the back of her daughter running outside, Alan could not help smiling.
So that was the rabbit meal.
Easy- peasy!
Twenty minutes later, when all dishes were served, Chloe was really surprised. The look was good and the taste was fabulous, which left all mean sarcasm she prepared useless.
And after Annie saw her special meal, she could not help asking Alan with astonished eyes, “Uncle weirdo, did you make all these?”
“Of course, do you like it?” Alan petted the head of her daughter and was extremely satisfied with how Annie looked at him.
Chloe glanced at it, and she was more pissed.
Rabbit, bear, duck, mouse, and dog...It was like a zoo here!
The man was showing off!
Even Olive was taken back a bit, seeing this.
