Before Frank could speak, Moxxi answered, "We know our chief very well even if others don't. The only difference between him and superheroes is the red underwear, and it's only natural he refuses to allow any nonsense to happen where his light touches-right, dear leader?"

Frank rolled his eyes at both Moxxi and Jada-those two could really be a handful on occasions.

Hana Pearce came up just then. "Superhero? What superhero?"

"Exactly the one you're thinking of!"

Moxxi chirped proudly. "You wouldn't know, Ms. Pearce, but our chief isn't one who exploits others despite his strength. Instead, he's working to rapidly develop Frankton Group and Mystic Sky Guild so that our influence extends across the nation and maintains order from the shadows!"

If Moxxi were to be honest, she had defected to Frank's side from the start out of fear.

But now, things were different-she had truly come to understand that the man was different from the rest and was ready to follow him to the ends of the earth!

"It's a grand dream, but reality can be harsh. I think you should recognize reality instead." Hana smiled, dissing them as they were getting disrespectful.

Jada snorted. "I'm telling you, Mr. Frankton works in mysterious ways. Be tactful and shut up, or I will make you."

Hana rolled her eyes, however, clearly not afraid of Jada as she turned to Frank. "Let's get down to business. Hal Prana's faction sent a group of people who's going to hold talks with me. Would you like to meet them with me if you have the time?"

"He's busy!" Jada refused before Frank could.

Moxxi even rolled her eyes. "Mr. Frankton is a man whose footsteps would leave the world quaking and not your bodyguard, let alone listen to your crap. Recognize reality already!"

Hana smiled and nodded at them, but she was really not asking them.

She turned to Frank, who shrugged. "Guess I could go with you. I have nothing else to do anyway."

"No!" Moxxi and Jada cried out at once.

It was not as if they were worried about Frank getting hurt, since Zephyr Hall was far from enough to cause them trouble.

Instead, it would be terrible for the pecking order if word got out that the chief of Mystic Sky Guild could be ordered around. Who would ever follow his orders from now on?

Frank naturally knew what they were thinking and chuckled. "Neither of you get it. There's two sources of authority-cause and might! With a good cause and superior might, no one would disrespect us!"

That night, Frank and Hana headed out to the woods.

Staring up above at the star-filled sky, Hana smiled. "The suburbs really are far more interesting than the sea, come to think of it. If the day comes and I could leave

everything behind, I'd like to move here!"

Frank nodded. "But worldly affairs are complicated-you may want peace, but there will always be those who come to mess with you. That's why one must always be prepared and eliminate any issues at the cradle, and only then would you have peace."

Hana's eyes lit up. "And here I thought you only knew how to kick ass-it turns out you can be philosophical."

Frank smiled but said nothing.

Suddenly, there was a strange racket from the trees, and as Frank leapt in front of

Hana in a flash, he caught an arrow between his fingers!

Hana snarled in rage, "They were the ones who called to talk, and they're attacking us! That's just disgusting!"
