"Of course!" Frank thanked her and had a couple more words with her before returning to the homestay cottage.

Jouri was still there and quickly asked when she saw Frank, "How did it go?"

"Like this!" Frank replied, putting the meteorite on the table.

Both Moxxi and Jada flinched and backed away, while Jouri rolled her eyes at them. "And you call yourselves Mr. Frankton's subordinates? Neither of you trust him!"

With those words, she strode up, picking up the meteor and studying it in her hands.

"Aren't you worried?" Frank asked in curiosity. "The radiation might still affect normal people."

"Worried? Why?" Jouri smiled. "You took it here, and that had to mean you subdued it. You're never one whogoked around with the safety of others, let alone their lives.

Frank smirked but nodded. "And here I thought you're smart. I'm surprised you're that sentimental-what would you do if someone would expose you to danger, unlike me?"

Jouri was not worried at all. "It's a case-by-case basis I guess. There are ways to deal with a good person and ways to deal with a rotten apple. There's no reason to be afraid all the time."

As she finished, she studied the meteorite and was knowledgeable enough to tell

with her naked eye that there was nothing amazing about the meteorite.

"If it had been fresh, I'd have taken it

away for real," she giggled. "But I guess it's not my fault even if anything happens now. You're the one who has an agreement With the priestess, not us!"

While Frank did not get upset, it did not sit well with Jouri or Moxxi.

Jouri simply smiled at them. "You two really snap so easily! But don't worry I'm not that unreliable, and I am definitely on Mr. Frankton's side."

Neither woman relaxed, however. "Someone on our side must be on hand to oversee the entire process. Is that alright?"

"Of course!" Jouri replied right away.
