The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

The dame was clearly not to be messed with. "Sure, let's go! What, are you scared?"

Even as the atmosphere tensed, an Audi A6 stopped outside.

A young man in a suit alighted, followed by a tall, slender pretty face with short hair and thick makeup.

"Hello, I believe we chatted online and agreed to my booking," the youth said. "Who's the landlady here?"

The dame ran up to him. "That would be me! Hurry on inside! Apologies for the mess, but these people are trying to steal your reservation, but I managed to fend them off."

"For real!?" the young man growled coolly.

"For real!" the dame quickly said. "But don't worry it's just a freakout. People like us working in the service industry have plenty of experience with that. How else would we make a living, y'know?"

The young man was clearly a fair person and was infuriated by the dame's goading.

Wheeling on Frank's group, he snapped, "Why don't you try another place if you can't get a booking? Why do you have to take it out on her?"

Everyone simply smirked at him, and Jada strode up. "Is running your mouth all you can do? We never took it out on anyone, and-"

"What, suddenly you're being all polite?! Just get out of here! You're not welcome here!" the dame yelled, trying to drown out Jada before she could be exposed.

Losing patience, Jada strode and slapped the dame across the face, sending her flying into a nearby flowerbed.

The young man and his girlfriend were left stunned and silent, while Jada snapped, "I usually wouldn't bother to explain myself, but my boss is a man of manners before all else, so look here!"

Whipping out her phone, Jada showed the young man the chat log with the dame on her phone. "Our booking was made earlier than yours, and we paid a premium on top of that, but that bitch changed her mind anyway!"

The young man read it, and realizing that he was deceived, he quickly said, "I'm sorry, ma'am. I snapped at you without knowing the whole story, and that's on me. Please forgive me."

Seeing that the young man was repentant, Jada did not press the issue and instead wheeled on the dame. "remember that mug yours Over the next few days, you'll understand that you've messed with the wrong people!"

And with that, she and the rest of Frank's group left.

Moxxi, however, sighed in exasperation as she looked at the crowds around them.

"Why did you have to push it that far? You've really done it now-sure, you

managed to show off, but there's no place for us to stay."

Moxxi was not wrong either-Jada's grievances against the dame aside, why

should they leave when they had just cause?

Still, Alda intervened before a fight could break out. "We could just pitch a tent! I'm sure camping would feel more lively, right?"

Moxxi a glare. "Thanks for the save, Ms. Ingram, but I won't bail-Mr. Frankton left this matter in my hands, and I'll see it through. Otherwise, some people would just use the opportunity to run their mouths!"

Moxxi shrugged. "You're goddamn right. If you screw this up, I'm not letting slip the chance to replace you."

Jada snorted and was about to storm off when a scrawny youth approached them from the opposite cottage. "Hi, I'm Toto. Are you looking for a place to stay?"

"What, is your cottage available?"

"Why, yes, of course!"

"Really?" Jada was skeptical despite the task at hand, since the whole street had been booked.

The only homestay available online that she could find was the dame's. If anything, there's almost no way someone called off their booking, and the empty cottage just happened to reach her!

Toto smiled in wry amusement. "You might not believe me, ma'am, but our cottage

is always unoccupied, and we can't put up an ad online either."

"What?" Jada asked, confused.

Toto sighed in exasperation and gestured at the dame's cottage with his chin. "It's that bitch's fault. Our cottage offers the best facilities and services on this street, but that bitch conspired with her thugs to flood our ads with poor reviews. The booking site noticed and blocked us, so we're appealing-and now, we have to wait for over a month!"
