Half an hour later, Hal was taken to Frank's office, now a lot less pompous than before.

His eyes were wide open in fear, and he was hugging himself while trembling, afraid to speak.

Nonetheless, Frank demanded, "Mr. Prana, why were you abetting those tomb raiders?"

Hal was shocked-so that was why these people showed up?!

"Would you let me go if I tell you?" he asked tentatively.

"That depends on our mood."

However, Hal decided not to tell him anything, as it might save his own skin. If he told Frank the great secret he was hiding, he might get killed instead! Laughing coolly, he gloated. "Oh, I don't know anything! Absolutely nothing!" "You bitch!" Moxxi spat as she strode up, punching Hal repeatedly until she knocked him out.

However, she was not about to let him off easy and woke him up by splashing a bucket of water on him!

"Come on, let's keep this up!" Moxxi yelled.

But before she could move, Hal threw his hands up and begged, "Please, ma'am! I'm so sorry! I'll talk! Just give me a chance! Please!"

"What a bother!" Moxxi rolled her eyes. "Couldn't you do that earlier?! Go on, what was it you're planning?"

Hal then confessed, "Just recently, I had this surprise tip that the tombs of Shagan are filled with goodies! But rumor also has it that there's a big shot acting as a vigilante and maintaining order, so I didn't dare to get involved personally and sent others instead."

Frank nodded but snapped, "Don't tell it's a surprise tip. You knew who they were!"

Hal quickly shook his head. "I-I really can't tell you. Can't you just give me a chance here?"

Frank then seized Hal by the head, lifting him into the air while walking over to the glass wall and kicking down a sheet.

He used his telekinesis to form a

web, stopping the glass fragments from falling and hurting anyone down below and pulling everything back into his office.

At the same time, he held Hal outside the building.

Hal felt his knees buckling as he felt the cool winds buffeting his face and kept struggling even as he shrieked, "Please, just give me a chance! Just let me go, I'm begging you!"

"Still not going to talk, huh?" Frank snorted.

Before Hal could speak, Frank suddenly released him!

"Argh!!!"

Hal was screaming endlessly, convinced he was doomed, when he suddenly stopped.

He looked up and saw that Frank had caught him by his shirt!
