The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella)

Chapter 1677

"She'll be alright." James had pulled himself together and turned back to Blaze and the others with a calm demeanor. "Make sure everyone gets back to the hotel safely," he instructed.

Curtis nodded respectfully, "Of course."

Without hanging around, James carried her downstairs with a sense of urgency.

Curtis, tucking his gun back into his waistband, walked over to Blaze and the others, untying the ropes that had held them captive.

Finally free, the group seemed to snap back to reality. The bodies of the gunmen Mirabella had deftly taken down still littered the floor, their weapons scattered. A shared question lingered in the air: Who exactly was their Mira?

Even as they climbed into Curtis's car, the mystery of Mira's true identity remained unsolved.

An hour later, Curtis dropped them off safely at the hotel and drove off. His tough exterior and intimidating vibe kept Blaze and the others silent during the ride, too nervous to ask questions.

Once Curtis left, the tension eased a little.

"I hope Mira's okay," Blaze said with genuine concern. He couldn't shake the

image of Mira risking it all to save him. Without her, he might not be standing here.

Patrick echoed his worry, recalling the earlier chaos, "I heard her mention something about medicine."

"Let's hope Mira's alright," Denny added with a serious tone.

Dusty and disheveled, they looked like they'd been through the wringer, but none

of them felt any bitterness, despite their kidnapping being linked to Mira.

As they headed back inside, they bumped into Grady in the lobby.

Grady, who had been trying to track down Blaze and the others since his call with Mirabella, was there waiting. He was visibly surprised to see them return so soon.

Remembering Mirabella's words from their conversation, he nodded at the trio before asking, "What happened earlier? Is my mistress alright?"

Blaze and the others exchanged a look, recognizing Grady as someone close to Mira, and quickly filled him in on how she had saved them.noveldrama

Grady's expression shifted slightly. "Is my mistress hurt?"

Blaze was startled by Grady's sudden intensity, stammering, "M-maybe. We don't really know the details."

"Where is she now?" Grady pressed, unfazed by the possibility of intimidating them.

Blaze replied, "You could ask Mira's boyfriend. He's the one who took her."

Grady hesitated at the mention of a boyfriend but quickly nodded, "Got it, thanks for letting me know."

With that, he strode out of the hotel, phone in hand, ready to call Reid and get James's contact info.

Meanwhile, James was outside the emergency room, the light above the leaned

door glowing steadily. The

against the wall, still as a statue.

It wasn't until his phone buzzed in his pocket that he snapped back to reality.

Seeing an unknown number, he declined the call.

Goodnight, and happy Children's Day!
