The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella)

Chapter 1443

Santos mulled over the question, giving a non-committal answer, "Perhaps."

His acupuncture couldn't solve the issue, but the person who administered it certainly could.

However, Santos didn't share this with Thomas.

"Please, Doctor, you must save my son. He's still so young..." Thomas's eyes reddened slightly.

Faced with Thomas's plea, Santos showed no real emotion, but since he was entrusted with this task, he simply said, "Allow me to go back and study this further."

After speaking, he picked up his belongings and excused himself to leave.

Thomas hurried to follow and see him out.

Standing at the door, Lisa watched them leave before lifting her head to look into Ben's room, clenching her hands, never daring to enter.

Because the word 'perhaps' Santos had said lingered in her ears.

If Emmitt truly could return to normal... Lisa took a deep breath, thinking of something, she suddenly pulled out her phone, opened Messenger, and sent a message to Mirabella.

Mirabella was outside when she received the message, having just met with Adler. She quickly replied to Lisa, "You're saying someone can cure Emmitt?"

Lisa: "The doctor wasn't sure, just said 'perhaps.""

Mirabella raised an eyebrow, replying, "Or maybe the person is a fraud?"

Her treatment left Ben with no chance, keeping him alive only because he was Lisa's brother.

Seeing Mirabella say this, Lisa felt slightly relieved, but thinking about the doctor dressed in a suit, exuding an aura unlike any typical alternative medicine practitioner, she typed, "He looked different from the usual alternative medicine doctors, wore a suit, and had a very professional demeanor. He was recommended by my dad's friend, shouldn't be a fraud."

Alternative medicine doctor?

Professional demeanor?

Mirabella tapped on the screen, casually asking, "What's his name?"

Lisa: "I'm not too sure about that, I heard my dad calling him Mr. Santos."

Mr. Santos?

Mirabella sifted through her mind

On the other side.

After leaving the Champ family, Santos went straight back to his hotel.

Just as he swiped his card to enter, his phone rang.

Picking it up, he saw it was Asa, knowing he was asking about Ben's condition, he pressed the answer button.

"Mr. Santos, how did it go?" Asa's cool voice came through first.

"It's hopeless." Santos spoke while pushing the door to the bathroom open and pulling out a box from under the sink.

The box contained a bottle of liquid and a pair of tweezers. He filled a cup halfway with water and added two drops of the liquid.

After stirring the water, he dipped his finger in it and lightly traced his facial contours.

Hearing Santos's words, Asa

Santos continued to work on his face in the mirror, pausing slightly at Asa's last comment, but quickly suppressed any discomfort and said lightly It takes the one who tied the bell to untie it. If you want Ben to regain consciousness, you'll have to find the person who did this to him."

Asa clenched his phone; if his people could find any clue, they wouldn't have to owe Santos a favor.

He pressed his temple, thinking of the unprecedented brainpower data in that email, he then asked Santos for a few more favors.

He must find out whose data it was from and inevitably bring that person into their facility for research.
