The Cursed Wolf’s Love

Unbearable to restrain myself

Iris stood in silence beside the window, captivated by the rain’s delicate dance upon the rooftop. Its gentle cadence enveloped the room in a tranquil ambiance.

Adolphus, towel in hand as he dried his hair, broke the silence. “The rain won’t stop if you continue to gaze outside. Please, come and sit on the bed.”

Turning to him, Iris met his gaze and replied, “I’m quite comfortable here, Master.”

Amused, Adolphus raised an inquisitive eyebrow and quipped, “Why do you always insist on making me repeat myself, Iris?”

Iris cast her eyes downward, her voice carrying a hint of contrition as she softly apologized, “Forgive me, Master.” With measured steps, she made her way to the bed, taking a seat on one side, creating a subtle buffer between herself and Adolphus, the Crown Prince of the Kingdom.

The proximity to Adolphus, the Crown Prince, left her feeling uneasy. Her fingers played nervously with each other as she wished for the rain’s timely cessation.

Adolphus deftly unbuttoned his shirt, allowing it to loosen from his snug trousers. His boots found a discreet spot beneath the bed. As he settled in, he suddenly called out, “Iris!” Her name on his lips prompted her swift attention.

With utmost attentiveness, Iris turned toward him, her voice gentle and caring. “Does Master require anything?” she inquired.

Adolphus issued his directive firmly. “No, I don’t. Get into the bed and cover yourself with the blanket,” he commanded.

“I am alright here. I am not feeling cold,” Iris quickly responded, but her sneeze took her by surprise, prompting her to cover her mouth discreetly.

Despite her initial reluctance, Iris complied with his request, slipping into the bed and cocooning herself beneath the blanket. “Master Apollyon, I’ve never encountered such rain before,” she remarked, her voice tinged with wonder.

Adolphus inched closer on the bed, his presence becoming more intimate. “Does it scare you?” he inquired softly.

Iris’s eyes widened as her gaze inadvertently traced his chest peeking through the partially undone shirt. She refocused her attention as Adolphus began to dry her hair with the towel. “It does scare me a bit,” she confessed honestly in response to his question.

“Nothing will happen,” Adolphus reassured her, his soothing words offering her comfort.

In that very moment, the sky roared with thunder, and a brilliant lightning bolt illuminated the room, startling Iris. She instinctively buried her face in Adolphus’ chest, clinging tightly to his arms for reassurance.

As the storm continued to rage outside, Adolphus tenderly brought his arm around her back, providing a comforting caress as they weathered the tempest together.

After several minutes, when the thundering and lightning stopped, Iris pulled away, apologizing for behaving that way.

Adolphus’s gaze remained fixed on her, his words tender and sincere. Yet, a desire stirred within him as he couldn’t help but notice her moist lips, reigniting the urge to taste them once more.

“Can I have the pleasure to kiss you?” Adolphus inquired, his hand gently cradling her neck, his fingers tracing delicate circles there.

Iris stopped blinking, her eyes filled with confusion as she stared at him. His request left her torn, caught between her loyalty and her own principles. “I cannot give my master such a thing. That’s against my dignity,” she replied truthfully, her unwavering resolve evident in her tone, in her eyes. As a purchased slave, she understood her lack of rights over herself, but she was determined not to compromise her self-respect, even in the presence of the Crown Prince.

Adolphus smiled at her reply. “What a wonder you are!” he remarked, causing her to meet his gaze which shone in green radiance. “I expected this kind of response from you only. You are the only slave, who dares to say no to me,” he muttered and moved away.

His wolf was responsible for making him feel such emotions toward her at the random time. “I will bring warm soup for you. The rain isn’t going to stop, I feel,” he said and again wore the boots.

However, Iris intervened, urging him not to trouble himself further.

“You are a special one to me, whom I don’t want to fall sick,” Adolphus asserted and left the room despite Iris refusal of having the soup.

Adolphus returned after fifteen minutes, carrying a tray bearing a steaming bowl of chicken soup. He closed the door gently behind him and carefully approached the bed.

Taking the bowl in his sizable hand, he brought it closer to Iris and stirred the aromatic soup with a ladle.

Iris looked at the meal and inquired, “How much did it cost?”

Amusement danced in Adolphus’ eyes as he locked gazes with Iris. “Why? Do you intend to reimburse me for these few cents?” he playfully inquired.

Iris found herself momentarily speechless under his intense gaze.

“The Crown Prince rarely does this for anyone, so savor the moment,” Adolphus declared and brought the ladle, filled with soup, closer to her mouth.

Iris complied and allowed Adolphus to feed her the soup, though she insisted, “I can drink it myself.”

Adolphus, however, remained steadfast. “I’ll serve you today,” he asserted. As Iris savored every spoonful, she eventually finished the soup.

Concern for her master’s well-being crossed her mind. “I forgot to ask, shouldn’t my Master have some hot soup as well?” Iris inquired.Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

Adolphus shook his head. “Certainly not. I’m a werewolf, Iris. My body doesn’t catch cold easily,” he explained, reassuring her. He set the bowl aside and got into the bed again.

Iris, with a tender gesture, reached for the edge of the blanket. She carefully draped it over Adolphus, pulling it closer to ensure his warmth. As she did so, Adolphus’s gaze remained locked onto her, his eyes holding a mixture of gratitude and admiration. She met his gaze and softly expressed her concern, “I don’t want Master to get cold.”

Adolphus gently took hold of her hand and pulled her closer, his other hand possessively resting on her back. Iris felt her breath catch as his proximity intensified.

“Didn’t I mention how much your presence affects me, especially when you do such things?” Adolphus huskily whispered against her lips, his desire palpable. “Sometimes it becomes unbearable for me to restrain myself, Iris.”
