THE CEO’S VENDETTA

It’s all looking strange

Then, the next day, I heard that the man, Mr Kelvin had been given a new office, right next to Alexander’s. That’s strange, I thought.

New employees don’t usually get offices like that. I decided to take a closer look at this man and find out what he was up to.

“How was he able to convince Alexander?” I thought.

Mr. Alexander called me into his office. I walked in, expecting to hear about some new task he wanted her to do.

But instead, he looked at her and said, “I need your help with something important. It’s a new project, and I think your skills could be really useful for it.”

I was surprised. This was the first time he has ever acknowledged my skills, and it felt good to hear him say that. “What’s the project?” I asked.

“It’s a new initiative to streamline our data management,” he said.© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

“We’ve been using a lot of different systems to manage our data, and it’s become a real mess. I want to create a single system that can handle all of our data, and make it easy to access and use. I think you’re the perfect person to help with this. You have an eye for organization, and you understand our data needs better than anyone else.” Mr Alex said

I was stunned. Not only was he giving me a new project, but he was praising my skills and showing that he respected my abilities.

“Thank you,” I said, my voice full of emotion.

As the weeks went by, I became more and more suspicious of Mr. Kelvin.

He was always hovering around Mr. Alexander, and it seemed like he was always in the right place at the right time.

I noticed that he was always trying to undermine my work. But I didn’t have any proof, and I didn’t want to go to Mr. Alexander with my suspicions without any evidence.

Until one day, I made a discovery that changed everything.

While I was working late one night, I noticed that Mr. Kelvin was still in the office.

When I approached his office, I could hear the sound of typing coming from inside. I knocked on the door, and there was no answer.

I knocked again, louder this time.

Still, no response. I tried the door handle, and to my surprise, it was unlocked.

As I opened the door, I was shocked by what I saw.

Mr. Kelvin was at his desk, but he wasn’t working on anything. Instead, he was scrolling through my files on his computer.

At that moment, everything clicked into place. He had been spying on me and he was trying to damage my work.

I clicked few pictures, went to the security Department and got the footage saved, I’m very sure his activities can be tracked within that time

I also left a note for Mr Alex saying I have an important update for him about an employee

Then I left for home…

Grace was so happy to see me, she is always so happy to see me, we went to my mum’s.

And in the late evening we had a time together with Sarah my younger sister.

In the morning, I was very eager to go to work, I intend to reveal everything I’ve been noticing and help Mr Alex has overcome this crisis, even as I do not really fully know the implications of what is happening.

(Narrator’s POV)

On getting to the office, everyone in the office stood in twos and threes, gossiping and whispering into each other’s ears.

“Isn’t she the one who leaked the company’s data?”

“That’s why it’s wrong to just trust people instead of just trusting their abilities”

Claire could overhear them and could clearly see that something is wrong but she was too fix on what she has to say to Mr Alex than what others has to say.

She marched straight to Mr Alex’s office but was denied entrance, Daniel didn’t allow her in.

“What’s going on” she said as she tries to understand the situation

“Miss Matthews, I will implore you to drop your files, and everything that pertains to this company and go home until our investigation is over.”

Being a very tenacious person she barged into Mr Alex’s office shouting on top of her voice, “Mr kelvin is a spy from Thornton’s Hub, I have all evidence.”

Upon hearing this, Alex could no longer contain his anger

He busted “that’s how you’ve always been Claire, no matter how people around you try to change and fit in, you don’t consider them changed”

Mr kelvin was initially a worker at Thornton’s Hub, a rival company, he was to be an employee at VisionTech but was snatched, Mr Thornton the owner of the rival company knows this and to infiltrate VisionTech planted kelvin there

Kelvin came as an helper, revealed the plan of Thornton to get access to VisionTech’s data, and advices that they use a particular system to handle their data, he did the framework and won Alex over by suggesting that Alex can let anyone carry out the job while he makes him a normal employee even if it’s a receptionist until he can trust him

Alex will always want to believe that anyone is whatever they claim to be but he had his own doubts, he and Daniel had been working on this but no evidence.

Even right now they do not really believe this is Claire’s fault but all evidence points to Claire.

“You left the office very late, told the security office to delete a footage where you leaked the file through Mr. kelvin’s office laptop, we aren’t daft here, Claire just leave the office and expect legal actions”.

The securities were sure to lead Claire out of the office.

“What have I done ? Have I just placed myself in more misfortune”. Claire mutters as she walks out of the office building in shame.

I sent a message to Grace explaining what happened in the simplest way I could as I do not have the strength to do beyond that

Then I got a message from an unknown number

“Believe me, I will surely get to the bottom of this and will help you out if innocent but if you are guilty, I will surely make you pay”

And at the bottom of this message a surprising name was there: ALEX
