The CEO’S Unplanned Heir novel (Aurelia and Leopold)

Chapter 330

Chapter 330

Getting a divorce was easier said than done.

She was utterly lost about her future.

Could it be that she and Arnold were destined to be star–crossed lovers?

“Aurelia, I’ll be getting a divorce soon. Wait for me, and don’t leave me, okay?” His voice was filled with

fear.

A bitter smile slowly surfaced on her face, “I’ll be here. I’m not going anywhere. Don’t worry. Taking

care of your mom should be the most important thing right now.”

He buried his face in her hair, savoring her intoxicating scent, “Aurelia, I love you. I won’t love anyone

else in this lifetime.”

Aurelia’s heart seemed to sink into the icy ocean, devoid of light, warmth, and any semblance of hope

for the future.

The next day.

She composed herself and went to Astral Enterprises. Work was now her only solace.

Her entrance into the building immediately attracted everyone’s attention.

“Oh my god, it’s Aurelia. Aurelia is back.”

“We should call her Mrs. Stirling!”

“Right, Mrs. Stirling.”

Her colleagues came over to greet her one by one.

“Good morning, Mrs. Stirling.”

“Mrs. Stirling, you’re finally back.”

“Seeing you safe and sound is a relief to us all.”

This was the scene Aurelia feared the most. It’s so awkward.

“Everyone, please just call me by my name, like before. No more Mrs. Stirling, please.”

“Then we’ll call you Director Aurelia,” suggested a colleague, grinning. The others agreed, surprised

that Mr. Leopold had chosen Aurelia to be his wife.

In the Design Department, the moment Aurelia stepped in, a bang was heard, and confetti cannons

went off behind her.

Colorful confetti fell from the air like snow.

“Welcome back, Director Aurelia!” Darcy and other colleagues welcomed her.

Looking at them, various emotions stirred in Aurelia’s heart. There were new faces, but some were

missing.

Emma was still there, but she remained quietly seated at her desk. She couldn’t possibly welcome

Aurelia.

Three years ago, Emma and Ritchie had to sell their house to pay their debts and buy a small three–

bedroom home. Ritchie had jeered at Aurelia’s misfortunes, which had angered Zack’s family.

They agreed to provide Belinda with a monthly pension, but all other expenses fell to Rahul. From then

on, the two families stopped interacting.

Emma had two daughters now, but during her second pregnancy, she suffered a severe hemorrhage

that damaged her womb, making it impossible for her to have a third child.

Perla, Emma’s mother–in–law was constantly making a fuss about their family line ending, and she

neglected her granddaughters. Emma had no choice but to hire a nanny.

Ritchie, on the other hand, did not have a sense of responsibility, always expecting his mother to do

everything for him. Aside from playing video games, he did nothing.

Emma wanted a divorce every moment of the day.

Aurelia’s gaze swept over Emma’s face, then turned to her colleagues with a smile, “I’m glad to see

everyone again. Let’s work hard together.”

Her workday was fulfilling, leaving her little time to dwell on her personal affairs or think about Arnold.

From now on, she focused on her career. As for love, she would let fate decide.

Inside the CEO’s office, Leopold relaxed in his chair, sipping his coffee.

Kevin walked in. “Mr. Leopold, I just got word that Arnold’s married.” Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

Arnold jolted, standing up from his seat in shock. After a few seconds, as if realizing something, he

quickly regained his composure and sat back down and asked, “Who did he marry?”

“Lisa, the daughter of Freysland’s wealthiest man, Desan,” Kevin said. “The Desan family holds great

power in Freysland, controlling its economic lifeline and the largest criminal organization.”
