She gave a self–deprecating smile, “You’re a noble master from the Stirling family. You’ve got women
lined up to the moon and back. Why would you want someone like me who’s already had children?”
Arnold’s mouth tightened, his gaze focused intently on her, his expression serious and solemn,
“Aurelia, no matter what’s happened, you’re the best. No woman can compare to you. I’m not a
traditional guy, I don’t care about these things. There are plenty of women who’ve been divorced,
who’ve had children, but they’re still pursued.”
Speaking, he knitted his brows together on purpose, “Don’t say such things to me again. It upsets me.”
His gentleness felt like a soothing spring on her frostbitten heart, warming it slightly.

Leopold was on high alert.
He had underestimated Aurelia once again. She always managed to do things that took him by surprise
and
he could never control.
All of his plans were disrupted.
But he had no choice but to find her. Only when she was safe under his watch, could he focus on
other
matters.
He grabbed a bottle of water from the cooler and chugged it down. Only the cold water could keep him
calm for a moment.
