The CEO’S Unplanned Heir novel (Aurelia and Leopold)

Chapter 283

Chapter 283

He gripped her chin, forcing her to look him in the eye. “Who are you keeping your virginity for?”

His gaze hardened, cold as ice, as if she’d shatter into a million pieces if she said the wrong thing.

She shivered, “I just believe that I should only be with someone I truly love. I can’t separate my

physical needs from my emotions.”

Leopold’s heart clenched as if he’d been struck, “Is it so hard to love me?”

She looked up at him, her eyes locked onto his. His face was so handsome it could make anyone

swoon – it was hard not to feel attracted. But falling in love with him would only lead to destruction.

“I can’t afford to fall in love with you. The world is full of women who love you, who are obsessed with Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

you. I don’t need to join that circus, it’s just asking for disappointment.”

Being rejected by him was already painful enough, why give him another chance to laugh at her?

His long fingers caressed her cheek, gently stroking her face, “But you’re the only one who’s my wife.”

Not for long, she thought bitterly to herself. She was not his chosen one. She was just the unfortunate

soul who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

“Mr. Leopold, once the babies are born, our karma will be fulfilled. On the christening day, you can hold

a family meeting, and we can part ways amicably. How about that?” She forced a smile onto her face.

Seeing her smile, Leopold felt a surge of anger. He leaned in, silencing her with a fierce kiss, pushing

her down onto the couch.

She weakly pounded her fists against his shoulders before letting them fall limply to her sides.

His kiss was too passionate, too dominating, she couldn’t resist.

Soon her mind went blank, her body soft as cotton, surrendering to him completely.

After what felt like an eternity, a voice echoed from below the stairs, “Aurelia, I’ve made you some

soup, come down and get it.”

Leopold finally released her.

She caught her breath, climbed off the couch, quickly straightened her disheveled hair and clothes, and

with flaming cheeks, ran out of the room.

She was beginning to suspect that Evelyn wasn’t satisfying him, which was why he was always so

discontent, always taking out his frustrations on her.

As she sat down to her bowl of soup in the dining room, Jolin noticed the red marks on her neck and

chest.

Before she could ask, she closed her mouth, understanding something, and laughed, “After some days,

you can go to the hospital for a check–up. If your body has recovered well, you can enjoy your intimate

moments.”

Aurelia choked on her soup, almost spitting it out. She quickly turned her gaze to see Leopold walking

in. She wanted to die of embarrassment. He must have heard her mother’s words.

“I…my body hasn’t fully recovered yet. Sometimes I feel pain when I exert myself.”

This was a warning to him. He better not mess with her.

Leopold gave her a deep, dark look, a wicked smile on his lips.

His prey could never escape!

Her mother came over, patting her head sympathetically. “You gave birth to twins, it’s normal to feel

this way Rest for a few more days and you’ll be fine.”

As Aurelia had her soup, she checked her messages on WhatsApp. There was a text from Arnold.

[Aurelia, are you okay? I’m really worried about you. No matter what happens, I’ll be by your side. I

won’t leave you]

A bitter taste filled her mouth, even the soup seemed to turn bitter.

Fate had a cruel sense of humor. It allowed her to meet him again, only to have her bear another man’s

children.

Was this what they called the whims of fate?
