Leopold couldn’t help but chuckle, playfully tapping her forehead as a gentle reprimand.
“Bedtime.”
“Oh.” She quickly pulled the duvet up to her chin, neatly bundling herself up.
Leopold walked out, taking with him a copy of ‘Expecting Parents: S** Guide!
She was silently terrified, goodness gracious, he wasn’t going to study it meticulously, was he?
Wouldn’t that mean he’d use her as a guinea pig?
Instinctively, she squeezed her legs together, determined to hold the line at all costs, he must not break
through!
Leopold didn’t stay the night, claiming that he would get too hot and wouldn’t sleep well.
Only when she heard the door close did she relax and peacefully drift off to sleep.
Evelyn’s designs were an amalgamation of vintage charm and aesthetic beauty, which was her
consistent style, earning her the title of ‘Aesthete Goddess‘ in the design world.
When her initial drafts were out, they left everyone in awe. She was bound to win, no doubt about it!
Evelyn’s face was flushed with an air of triumph, as if she was already the victor. For Aurelia, a novice
designer, to dare compete with her was simply foolhardy.
Aurelia remained calm. Evelyn’s designs were indeed stunning, but hers weren’t any less.
She called her team into the conference room for a meeting.
Once everyone’s drafts were completed, Aurelia discussed opinions with them and made some tweaks
to
the finer details.
Darcy had the latest scoop that Evelyn’s team had roped in the most popular rising star lan, to shoot an
ad campaign with Astral Enterprises‘ new spokesperson, Amelia.
This would not only give them a promotional edge but also left Aurelia’s team without a spokesperson.
Amelia couldn’t possibly shoot two different ad campaigns simultaneously.
Lily mentioned, “Their proposal has been approved by Mr. Louis, and word has it that he rejected Mr.
Harry’s marketing strategy for the next quarter, retaining only two teams to promote our ‘Destiny‘
series, while all other departments are to focus on promoting Evelyn’s ‘Eternal Love‘ series.”
Aurelia hummed lightly, it seemed like Mr. Louis was entirely under Evelyn’s influence.
“The top boss hasn’t given his approval yet. As a deputy director, he doesn’t have the final say. I’ll
handle it during the meeting.”
After the conference room meeting, she texted Mr. Harry on WhatsApp for a while.
During the company meeting in the afternoon, Mr. Harry didn’t adopt Mr. Louis’s marketing plan and
stuck to his original one.
This irked Mr. Louis.
“Ms. Evelyn’s ‘Eternal Love‘ series is incredibly lavish, it has a jaw–dropping impact, whereas Manager
Aurelia’s ‘Destiny‘ series seems to pale in comparison. So, I hope Mr. Harry would consider my
suggestion
and allocate more sales resources to promote the ‘Eternal Love‘ series.”
He paused, then added, “Manager Aurelia and Ms. Evelyn are in a competitive match, and this can be
considered as their first match on marketing. The product with more market appeal should receive
more marketing resources.”
Aurelia remained calm, her smile faint, “Is this Mr. Louis’s personal opinion, or the collective view of the
Marketing Department?”
Before Louis could respond, Harry interjected, “Personally, I am more inclined towards the ‘Destiny‘

series. Thus, I don’t agree with Mr. Louis’s marketing plan.”
This effectively silenced Louis, preventing him from representing the entire Marketing Department.
Louis was aiming his blade at Harry, he wouldn’t just sit and take it, would he?
Aurelia smiled lightly, calmly suggesting, “Since Mr. Louis and Mr. Harry have differing views, why don’t
we do this? Let Mr. Louis and Mr. Harry each lead a team, promoting ‘Eternal Love‘ and ‘Destiny‘ series
respectively, that would be fairer.”
With that, she turned her gaze to Leopold, “Mr. Leopold, what do you think?”
Leopold glanced at her mysteriously, nodding slightly.
After the meeting, she went to the CEO’s office and as usual, specially made a cup of black coffee for
Leopold.
“Mr. Leopold, Evelyn has hired a popular new star and Amelia to shoot an ad campaign, leaving no one
on my side.”
