Finding her dirty
“Nina?” A surprised cry sounded from the distance, halting Nina in her tracks. She turned around to notice a familiar yet unexpected acquaintance.
It was none other than her boss, Victor Levigne.
On second thought, it wasn’t surprising for him to be here, since he also belonged to the upper echelons of society.
However, to Victor, it was a shock.
Since Nina was an intern at his company, Victor more or less knew about her background, hence arousing such a huge reaction from him.
He made his way toward her and, as usual, was about to greet her with a hug. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
However, before he could even touch her fabric, a strong masculine body settled itself between them, preventing Victor from hugging Nina.
Both Nina and Victor looked at the person in bewilderment, not knowing what he was up to.
Though momentarily stunned, Victor quickly regained his composure.
“CEO Luxton,” Victor acknowledged, his tone carefully neutral. “A pleasure to see you.”
Jayden’s response was deliberated, his voice containing a tinge of hostility. “Likewise, Mr. Levigne.”
However, Victor did not notice anything amiss.
A glint of possessiveness in his dark eyes as he cast a steely gaze upon Victor. “By the way, have you met my wife, Mr. Levigne?” he inquired.
“Huh?”
Seeing the perplexed look on his face, Jayden stepped aside and pulled Nina forward. With his arm tightly wrapped around her dainty waist, he introduced her with a faint smile. “Meet my wife, Nina Luxton.”
Although he seemed to be smiling, his eyes were filled with coldness as he declared his sovereignty.
The shocking revelation dumbfounded Victor. His demeanor cracked as he looked at Nina in disbelief.
Nina herself was taken aback by the sudden turn of events. Meeting Victor’s gaze, she nodded lightly in confirmation.
Victor struggled to process the news. “Why didn’t you tell me you were married?” Because he had arrived late at the banquet, he had missed the commotion earlier and was ignorant about the relationship between Nina and Jayden. Of course, Nina never mentioned her marriage.
“You never asked.” Nina shrugged, stating the obvious.
Although the relationship between Nina and Victor was purely that of a superior and subordinate, he felt a tinge of disappointment. There was a dull ache in his heart and he could not help but cast a few more glances at Nina.
The changes in Victor did not go unnoticed by Jayden and knew he had guessed right.
Jayden’s grip around Nina’s waist involuntarily tightened, a reaction borne out of possessiveness.
Nina felt uncomfortable under his hold and stared blankly at him.
As his gaze lingered on Nina, Victor suddenly felt a chill run down his spine. He averted his gaze from her, only to meet the unrelenting darkness of Jayden’s eyes that were like a bottomless pool.
Instantly, a cold sweat broke out across his forehead.
As someone who had been in the business for a long time, Victor could immediately compose himself, masking the unease beneath.
Seven billion people in the world, but he chose to fancy the wife Jayden Luxton.
The man who could instantly chew him and ten more families like theirs without spitting out the bones.
Although Victor admired Nina, it wasn’t to the extent of deep infatuation. It was admiration tinged with respect, a sentiment he would be careful not to allow to deepen.
Liking her was one thing, but coveting Jayden Luxton’s woman was akin to suicide. And he wasn’t stupid enough to offend this devil for a woman.
“Ahem. I’m sorry.” Victor cleared his throat before continuing. “I just did not expect Nina to be married given her young age.”
He could not be blamed for it. Anyone who heard the news was given the shock of their lives, alright.
“Now you know, right?” So, fuck off!
Jayden asked, his voice cutting through a subtle warning. His meaning could not be any more obvious.
Taken aback, Victor stepped back with a slight nod. “I suddenly seem to have remembered something important.”
“See you later.” Saying, he immediately departed.
After he flew, Jayden finally put his attention on the woman in his arms.
“I only left you for a few minutes and you already know how to attract trouble.” He mocked.
However, Nina was not to be outdone. “At least I’m not attracting bees and butterflies.” She retorted, implying his conversation with Madison earlier.
Hiss!
Nina hissed in pain as Jayden’s slender fingers tightly pinched her chin. “Don’t casually hug other men. I’ll find you dirty.”
Obviously, he did not believe Madison’s words.
But she was right about one thing, though.
He did not know if Nina had any feelings for him. After all, they did have a questionable relationship. However, that did not mean that he would take it lying down.
As long as he did not want her, she could not leave him. It wasn’t even a choice. Just thinking about them separating made him suffocate.
He would rather ruin her himself than see her belong to another man.
His thoughts even scared him. However, there was no turning back. Since Nina had already sent him to hell, she had to accompany him!
Upon hearing his disdain, Nina sneered. “Aren’t you also trash since you’ve married a ‘dirty’ woman like me?”
Heavens!
If someone had heard their conversation, they would bow down in front of Nina to have the audacity to call Jayden trash.
The strength in Jayden’s fingers intensified. He pulled Nina closer, their proximity barely leaving any room between them. “Don’t think I won’t do anything to you just because we’re in the public.”
The atmosphere crackled with an ambiguous tension.
Nina was unfazed by his threats. Raising her arm, her fingers lightly brushed down his chest before resting on his abdomen.
With a gentle nudge, she pressed on his stomach. Her warm breath caressed his ear as she whispered provocatively. “Oh! then I’d like to see what you’re capable of.”
A growl rumbled in Jayden’s throat as her touch ignited a fire within him. He swiftly caught her wandering hands and pinned them under his.
It was said that a man’s stomach was the most sensitive part of his body.
And his little vixen exactly knew how to poke his spots.
Without caring about their surroundings, he lowered his head and captured her lips in a heated kiss.
Nina’s eyes flickered slightly as she melted under his kiss. Fortunately, most of the guests had already left or else she did not know how to hide her embarrassment.
‘Cough, cough, cough’
A series of coughs resounded in the space, disrupting the passionate moment between the couples.
It was Nora and Liam who had come over at some point.
Upon hearing the noise, Nina quickly pushed Jayden away, her cheeks burning with a tinge of red.
“Sorry to interrupt. We just wanted to inform you that leaving.” With his hand casually tucked into his pocket, Liam spoke up.
Jayden nodded his head in acknowledgment. “We’ll be departing shortly as well.”
Nora, on the other hand, smiled at her meaningfully. Pulling Nina into a quick hug, she whispered in her ears. “Enjoy your night, babe.”
Nina’s blush deepened, at her words.
Since Nina had raised the question that night, Jayden really showed her what exactly he was capable of.
—
With a bang, Nina lowered herself onto the table, her body tingling with the residual effects of the previous night’s fiery session.
Today, she had donned black shorts paired with a loose, cold-shoulder purple shirt. The shirt was buttoned up to the collar. A deliberate attempt to conceal the vibrant blue and pink marks that adorned her skin, as a memento from a certain someone who had explored every inch of her being.
Regret gnawed at her as she recalled the impulsive flirting that had led her to this state. She was acutely aware of how dangerous her man was, yet she kept provoking him.
A tray of food was gently placed beside her, and Kaylin settled into a chair beside her. Amusement flashed across her eyes as she observed Nina’s dejected appearance. Unable to resist, a teasing smile tugged at the corners of her lips. “Looks like someone had quite an eventful night.”
Nina gritted her teeth and subconsciously clenched her legs. A pleasurable ache pulsed through her body as she recalled the contents of the last night. Her arms, hips, and a particularly sensitive area throbbed in protest, a reminder of the intensity they had shared. Even her mouth felt sore, evidence of how wild the night had been.
Kaylin’s curiosity, as always, was relentless. “How long did your marathon last?”
A wry smile touched Nina’s lips as she responded with a hint of resentment. “Would you believe me if I say I only slept around five in the morning?”
Kaylin laughed and bobbed her head. “I do, I do.”
“Jokes apart, remember to nourish yourself with tonics. Excessive indulgence in sex isn’t good for your body,” Kaylin advised earnestly.
“By the way, I recall your latest apparel collection being released. Would you mind selling me that lovely low-cut maroon dress featured in the catalog? I need an outfit for an upcoming event at my company.”
After seeing Nina’s designs, she firmly believed that in the coming few years, Nina would definitely reach the top of the fashion world.
Nina paused, considering Kaylin’s request before offering a warm agreement. “Of course. I’m more than happy to help. How about going to my place after classes? You can browse through the outfits and select whatever suits your style. Consider it a gift from me.”
Kaylin’s eyes lit up as she thanked Nina. “No problem. Once our classes end, let’s head over and explore the collection.”
The two girls chatted happily, not noticing that a group of girls were approaching them, their malicious intentions concealed beneath deceitful smiles.
“Ahhh!”
Suddenly, a piercing shriek rang within the cafeteria, shattering the comfortable ambiance.
Startled, the girls watched some yellow liquid being callously emptied onto their trays, contaminating the food they had been enjoying moments earlier.
“Hmm. Now, it should taste better.” A venomous voice punctuated the chaotic scene.
As the liquid pooled on the tray, a strong stench emitted into the atmosphere. Covering their nose, the two women rose in unison and stepped behind to see the intruders.
Nina’s eyes immediately turned frosty when she saw who it was.
Madison Heath.
