The CEO's Amazing Ex-Wife Is Back (Thalassa and Kris)

Chapter 212

After taking her to heaven and beyond, Kris prepared a bath in the bathroom, where they washed and cleaned off the sweat and grime from their countless rounds of lovemaking.

Of course, Kris didn't miss the opportunity to give her another orgasm with his fingers.

Once they were freshened up and dry, Thalassa went to her room to get dressed, while Kris headed to the guest room he'd been given to change into one of the outfits he had ordered and received the night before.

They met up in the hallway and went together into Alex's room, but finding it empty, they made their way downstairs.

As soon as Betty laid eyes on them, the older woman broke into a knowing smile. She was sitting on one

of the couches in the living room while Alex sat in front of her, using crayons in a coloring book. "Good morning, Betty," Kris greeted.

Betty scoffed. "It's already some minutes past twelve. Not that you two would know, being so busy up there."

Thalassa flushed, narrowing her eyes at her. "Betty!"

Betty's smile broadened even more. "I made enough breakfast for you two, thinking you'd be down for it. How naive of me not to know that you were keeping each other very well-fed."

"Betty!" Thalassa groaned, her cheeks turning even redder. She looked so cute that Kris couldn't help but chuckle as he wrapped his arm around her and planted a kiss on her temple.

"Okay, okay," Betty said, throwing her hands up in surrender, looking quite amused. "I'll go heat up the food for you since it can't go to waste."

As she got to her feet, her smile turned from teasing to genuinely warm as she looked from Kris to Thalassa. "I am so happy for you, Lassa. I might as well be the one who was lying on my back all night long.

Thalassa's eyes widened. "Betty!"

But the older woman was already scurrying off with a laugh. Thalassa shook her head as she glared at her back, though she couldn't help but smile too.

"I really like her," Kris said.

"Everyone likes Betty."

"Mummy, look!"

The voice of their little boy drew their attention. Alex was holding up his small coloring book, proudly

showing off his work. It was a picture of a lion, but he had colored it blue.

"Wow!" Thalassa cooed, crouching down beside him. "It's beautiful, sweetheart. Good job!"

She raised her palm, and Alex instantly clapped it with a high five. Thalassa smiled before holding his cheek and planting a lingering kiss on his forehead.

Instinctively, she looked behind her. Kris stood watching them, hesitant to join. He'd played a lot with Alex yesterday, but he felt like he was intruding on the mother-sono moment.

Thalassa stretched out her hand to him, urging him with a small smile. "It's time."noveldrama

"It's time for what?" Kris asked curiously as he took her hand and knelt beside her in front of Alex.

His eyes burned as he gazed down at their son. "Hello, champ."

"Hello!" Alex greeted back enthusiastically, briefly flashing Kris a smile that pierced his heart like Cupid's arrow.

Oh God, he loved the little boy.

Alex was about to go back to coloring when Thalassa gently held his hand to keep his attention. "Alex, do you know who this man is?" she asked softly.

Alex looked at Kris briefly and shook his head. Kris felt his heart squeeze painfully. Yesterday, he hadn't said anything to him about who he was, not wanting to overwhelm or scare him Still, it hurt that his son saw him as a stranger.

"He's Daddy. Your daddy," Thalassa explained.

She wasn't sure if Alex fully understood, but she knew this needed to be done. She knew how much it would mean to Kris.

"Daddy," Alex muttered, as if tasting the word for the first time.

"Yes," Thalassa nodded earnestly. She pointed at herself. "Mummy..." Then she pointed at Kris. "...Daddy. Mummy...Daddy."

Alex slowly raised his hand, pointing a tiny finger at Thalassa. "Mummy..." Then he looked at Kris, pointing at him. "Daddy?"

"Yes. Daddy," Kris croaked out, wrapping his arms around his son as a tear slid down his cheek. "I'm your daddy."

He wasn't sure if Alex fully understood what was happening, but just heading him refer to him as daddy meant everything to him.

Hearing Tessa call him "dada" for the first time had been exciting, but this... this was something else entirely.

Hugging Alex tightly to his chest, Kris looked up at Thalassa, his throat tight with emotion as he whispered, "Thank you."
