Chapter 580 Cayden Shows Up

Brittany was so jealous of Avery that she hated her to the bone.

Not only has Avery stolen my place as the first girl in my academic year, but she also stole my place as campus belle! Even the guys standing behind me are starting to take her side!

Brittany had thought of humiliating Avery in public when she saw her at the nightclub, but she was overseas at the time and only came back a few days ago.

As such, she could only plan this gathering to try and humiliate her, but Avery's responses caught her completely off guard.

Fighting back the urge to throw up, Avery shot him a look of disgust as she retorted, “You have a girlfriend, and I am a pregnant woman. I don't think what you said is appropriate.”

Sebastian flashed her an even more perv*rted smile and replied, “That woman is nothing compared to you, Ms. Rumpley! You have a charm that no other woman has. Besides, I have tasted pregnant women before, and they are truly remarkable. I doubt there is a man out there who can resist an elegant pregnant woman like you, Ms. Rumpley.”

He then tried to run his hands over Avery, much to her disgust.

“F*ck off!” Avery shouted.

Dylan had disgust written all over his face as he grabbed a glass bottle from the table.

He was ready to smash it over Sebastian's head if he dared lay another finger on Avery.

Realizing that Sebastian's hand was about to touch her shoulder, Avery quickly stepped backward while shielding her tummy from him.

Dylan, too, raised the glass bottle high up into the air and got ready to strike.

However, a pained scream echoed throughout the area before he could even do anything.

After taking a moment to regain her composure, Avery saw that Sebastian's hand was held in a vice- like grip and broken mercilessly.

The handsome man that had appeared out of nowhere was none other than Cayden.

Everyone knew who he was because he would appear in the financial news every now and then.

The crowd went completely silent when they saw him show up. Even the loud music came to a sudden stop.

Is that really Cayden Moore? We're not dreaming, are we? What is a great man like him doing in a place like this?

Avery breathed a sigh of relief as she ran up to Cayden. Being in his presence filled her heart with a sense of security.

“You are here...” she said.

With a disgusted frown on his face, Cayden let go of the broken wrist and wiped his hand with a handkerchief. He then gently pulled Avery into his embrace and said affectionately, “Yeah, I'm here to bring you home.”

Brittany's expression turned gloomy when she saw that after returning from the restroom.

What? How is this possible? Cayden is Avery's sugar daddy? No, that can't be! She's probably just Mr. Moore's mistress or something! Yes, that has got to be the case! A woman like Avery is only worthy of being a toy for men!

With that in mind, Brittany quickly ran forward to greet Cayden, only to be stunned by his looks when she got close.

Although she hardly had any opportunities to meet men like Cayden, she was well aware of his identity.

A few seconds later, she came back to her senses and realized what Cayden meant. Her face went pale when she saw him gently adjusting Avery's shirt collar with an affectionate look in his eyes.

“Huh... It seems Ery isn't exactly having a great time with you guys here...” Despite how gentle Cayden's voice sounded, everyone around him could feel a hint of hostility in his tone.

Brittany flashed Cayden a sweet smile before shooting Avery a warning gaze. “Not at all, Mr. Moore! Avery is having a great time with everyone here. We had a ton of fun tonight! Isn't that right, Avery?”

“Oh? Is that so?” Cayden shifted his gaze toward Nina, who jabbed a finger at Brittany and exclaimed angrily, “Don't listen to her, Mr. Moore! This woman only invited Ery over so she could humiliate her in front of everyone! She said something about seeing Ery work as a hostess at a nightclub and even offered to lend her money! What a joke! The look in Cayden's eyes grew cold as he glared at Sebastian, who was cowering at the table. “Is that true?”
