The Alpha’s Obsession with his Ex-Contract Luna

Chapter 147

Chapter 147

“Daisy, that is Charlotte’s bracelet. You don’t have to take what does not belong to you,” Sheridan reprimanded sternly and snatched the item from between Daisy’s fingers.

Daisy’s expression turned sorrowful, but this time, Sheridan was determined to ignore her feelings and return it.

If that was not done, Daisy might continue picking things that are not hers, which would not be good.

“Nick, do you think they have traveled far?” Sheridan asked Alpha Nick, thinking of how to return the bracelet to Charlotte.

Alpha Nick shook his head. It was already late, and the coronation was tomorrow. “I don’t know, but you still have Charlotte’s number. Why not call her to come for it?”

Thus, he was not ready to chase them to return whatever bracelet it was. That would be a waste of time.

Even the warriors would all be busy with the coronation. Alpha Nick was just not interested in something so trivial but could not put it directly.

Sheridan checked through her call logs, about to say that she deleted it when she saw the name and dialed the number.

“Sheila?” Charlotte was surprised to see her call and thought that perhaps she was hallucinating. Sheridan sounded irritated at the end of the line, pointing out,

“My real name is Sheridan, so stop calling me by that fake name.”

Charlotte forced a smile, suddenly missing the times when she was opportune to be on Sheridan’s good side.

They would laugh, cook together, and prank each other. Only if she had not been envious of Sheridan, things would have remained as they were.

“Alright. Is there a problem, please?” Charlotte’s voice was polite, Sheridan was direct.

“No. Daisy took your bracelet. You should come for it.”

Charlotte smiled in remembrance of the pure–hearted little girl. “It’s alright. I was aware when she snatched it, but it’s fine. She likes it and can keep it.”

Sheridan was not liking the idea and did not hide it since she still could not believe that Charlotte had changed.

The only thing that stopped Sheridan from killing her was the innocent child in her womb. “I honestly don’t like it for her, so please come back for

it.”

Charlotte was saddened, knowing that Sheridan wanted to erase her from Daisy’s mind, which was understandable, except that, “Sheridan, you can please throw it away. I’m pregnant and already exhausted.”

Sheridan forgot how easily a pregnant woman could be exhausted, and Charlotte already traveled for hours to return Daisy to them. “Okay. No thanks anyway.” All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

Charlotte only shook her head before the call ended. Daisy took back the bracelet from her mother. It was a dewdrop pearl bracelet, and she liked it a lot.

“Let’s get enough rest before the coronation tomorrow,” Alpha Nick yawned. He suddenly felt tired even though they had not gone to war.

Sucking over a missing child was indeed draining. Alpha Nick announced to the pack that Daisy had returned but did not give the details as everyone slept in peace.

The omegas

woke up earlier to get the auditorium for the coronation prepared, and by the time the guests began to arrive, everything was ready.

Alpha Ansaldo and Bree were among one of the first to arrive, and Bree would not separate from Daisy, especially when she was scheduled to return to the Riverbed pack the next day.

Sheridan and Goldie were preparing together in Alpha Nick’s room, as Alpha Nick and Beta Dustin got ready in Dustin’s room.

Athena and Tedmond welcomed the guests on their behalf, and Alpha Nick was the proudest Alpha there was.

“Goldie, you look stunning. You are almost like the Luna,” Sheridan exclaimed. Goldie rocked one of Sheridan’s designs, and it was as if the gown was crafted for her.

It was a baby blue tube glitter ballroom gown. “Stop kidding, Sherry. Who can overtake you in the land of beauty?” Goldie retorted, feeling slightly dizzy and nauseated.

Due to the event, she kept it all to herself as Sheridan replied. “I’m serious, and I’m going to use this image for one of the covers of our magazines.”

She picked up her phone to take pictures as Goldie smiled at her. “I don’t mind. It’s equally your design, and I love it.”

“Then sit on the bed and pose as if you are trying to reach for something. Give me a good angle,” Sheridan instructed seriously. This was going to sell if she made it a cover of one of her fashion magazines.

“Is this alright?” Goldie laid partly on the bed with her hand stretched out to a flower vase a distance away, Sheridan arranged the hem of the gown for her before taking multiple shots.

“It’s perfect. I’m sending it now.” A knock sounded on the door, and Goldie smiled. “That must be Alpha Nick.”

Sheridan disagreed and teased her. “And what if it’s rather Beta Dustin?”

Goldie knew the respect Dustin had for Alpha Nick. He would not come for her before Alpha Nick comes for Sheridan.

“I insist it’s Alpha Nick.”

Sheridan sighed and went to get the door, determined to prove it was Beta Dustin, but to her excitement and disappointment, it was rather a shocked–looking Alpha Nick.

“Sherry. Are you sure you want to be coronated? I just want us to go back to bed.”

The mermaid–style ballroom gown she wore made her so attractive, Alpha Nick could not resist. He could even call off the coronation, just to be alone with her.

Sheridan laughed. “Get a hold of yourself, Nick, and where is Dustin?” She asked. Alpha Nick saw Dustin from a distance and beckoned him to

come.

“He would be here soon, and where is Goldie?”

Goldie stood from the bed and was hit with a heavier wave of dizziness; she fainted. “Goldie,” Sheridan hastened to her side and lifted her upper body in his arms.

“I will get mom,” Alpha Nick said, suspecting that Athena would have an idea of what was wrong with Goldie and turned to see Dustin running towards him. “Alpha, it’s Tom.”
