Chapter 29 Set Her Up (Part One)
Chapter 29 Set Her Up (Part One)
As Spencer stepped out of the car, he immediately caught the attention of the girls. He steadily walked
towards them. As he looked ahead, his eyes were dark and his lips were pursed. His strong aura was
undeniable.
Still in disbelief, Fiona wondered what he was doing here.
Soon after, a man came out from the back seat of the car. Fiona glanced at him only to find out that it
was Eric. 'Are they really both here?'
"Oh my God!
He's so handsome!"
"I can't breathe!"
Everyone was in utter admiration of the handsome man. Meanwhile, Fiona had broken out into a cold
sweat in fear.
As soon as Eric stepped out of the car, the first thing he saw was Fiona. Just as he was about to call
her, he seemed to have realized something and decided against it. He then just merely smiled at her.
In response, Fiona bowed her head.
Since Leona was standing behind Fiona, she couldn't help but notice the smile on Eric's face.
Frowning, she glanced at Fiona.
Spencer pressed his lips together, his face cold. His handsome face and forceful aura were what made
him a hit among the ladies. He cast a cold glance at Fiona before turning to look at Eric. "Go to your
team."
"Yes, sir!" Eric made a salute, clenched his fists, and ran away quickly.
In his boots, Spencer walked towards the girls. He halted right in front of Fiona. "Good morning,
everyone. I'm your drillmaster," he said in his deep voice.
Fiona flinched as soon as she heard Spencer's voice.
How could he be their drillmaster? It was completely unnecessary for him to be a drillmaster, but here
he was. It didn't take a genius to figure out that he was here for a reason. Was he here for her?
The very thought of this sent a shiver down Fiona's spine.
He continued, "In the next month, I'll be leading you in completing your military training mission. I hope
you will obey the orders and cooperate with me."
As soon as he finished speaking, the crowd shouted in unison, "Okay!"
"Sir, what's your name?"
"Sir, how old are you? Do you have a girlfriend?"
A group of girls approached Spencer and asked him one question after another.
"He is so handsome!" Sophia whispered in Fiona's ear
A smile tugged at the corners of Ella's mouth. "I'm wondering what rank he's at. If it's high, I'll consider
him."
"Humph," Sophia sneered. "You think he'll fall for you? In your dreams."
Spencer roared,
"Shut up!"
The girls all gasped in astonishment except for Fiona.
"First of all, my last name is Cheng," he said. "As for the first name, you don't have to know. You can
call me Mr. Cheng. Besides, I'm married. I'm not interested in any of you. Stop asking questions about
my personal life."
"He's married! What a pity!"
"He looks so young. How could he be married?"
Meanwhile, Fiona didn't dare look up. 'He said he's married.' As soon as she thought of this, she
couldn't help but feel bashful.
"All right, the military training begins. Let's adjust the team arrangements first." After pacing around the
girls for a few rounds, he suddenly pointed at Fiona and said, "You, go to the first row!"
Fiona's heart skipped a beat. She raised her head to protest, but when she saw the look on Spencer's
grim face, she froze. 'Was I wrong to assume he came here for me?' Deep in thought, she slowly
walked towards the first row and stood in the middle of the line.
"You, to the right! And you, the last row. And you..."
After adjusting the positions of several other students, Spencer nodded approvingly and began to give
orders. "Alright. Attention! Now, let's start the first lesson of the military training. Stand in a military
position!"
"What? Oh my God..."
Upon hearing the complaints, Spencer turned to the girl who had spoken and said coldly, "If anyone
makes any sound again, run around the playground for 20 laps."
As soon as he finished speaking, the crowd fell into a thick silence. Seeing the group quiet down,
Spencer said expressionlessly, "The main point of standing in the military position is making sure
that..." As he spoke, he walked around to ensure everyone was standing correctly. He walked up to
Fiona and tapped her right hand. He said, "Your hand should be tightened!"
When his rough hand touched hers, she stiffened.
Upon seeing the look on her face, Spencer thought to himself, 'Silly girl, are you scared? I still
remember how you hung up on me last time. Now your life is in my hands. Let's see where this takes
you!'
"Everyone, keep your posture. Chest out, stomach out, head up, eyes straight ahead, and shoulders
back out. Don't move unless I tell you to!"
The sun was scorching hot. Having been standing underneath the heat for about five minutes already,
everyone was sweating buckets.
Spencer wandered around leisurely, looking at Fiona standing straight. He was annoyed and wanted to
cause trouble for her. When he touched his pocket, an idea came to him.
In the dead silence,
someone's phone suddenly rang.
Spencer then yelled, "Whose phone is ringing?" Feeling the vibration of her phone in her pocket, Fiona
felt her heart sinking.
Before she could even react, she saw Spencer walking towards her. In a cold tone, he asked, "Was
that your phone?"Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
