Chapter 20 Eilean’s Pregnancy
Monica and Mia walked in silently into the house.
Jason and Maria were already sitter waiting for them.
“Sister, you’re back” Maria hugged Monica.
“You guys are back?” Jason asked smiling.
Jason and Maria were very happy to meet their sister after many weeks.
“Yes” Monica answered.
Mia walked into her room.
“What’s wrong with Mia?” Maria asked.
“Don’t mind her, she isn’t in a good mood. She wants to be alone now” Monica stroked Maria’s hair.
“Am glad we no longer share the same room” Mia sighed.
“Sister Monica, when is Mum coming back home?” Maria asked.
“Mum, is not yet back?” Monica asked Jason.
“Yeah, she’s been off for about a week now. She said she would come back soon but we’re still waiting. There’s no enough money to even take care of ourselves. Mia is the one who have been helping out alot” Jason explained.
Monica smirked. Mia walked out of her room to get some water from the refrigerator.
Monica, Jason and Maria were already waiting for her in the living room.
“Mia, we’ll like to discuss something with you” Monica said.
“Am not interested” Mia retorted walking out.
“Mia is about Mum!” Jason exclaimed.
Mia stopped and turned to them.
“What happened to Mum” Dropping her water bottle on the table.
“Mum is gone for good!” Monica shouted.
They all turned to look at her.
“Mum is gone?” Maria cried.
Jason consoled Maria.
“Monica, I know very well that since you were discharged from the hospital you haven’t fully recovered and it’s affecting you in the brain” Mia yelled.
“Mia calm down, you’re being rude” Jason urged.
Mia sat down.
“Mum is gone, I know it’s very hard to believe but you guys need to accept the fact, Mum always does this. Jason do you remember when we were kids?” Monica questioned Jason.
Jason recalled what happened when the were kids. There Mum left them alone in the forest due to a sudden war. Mum was always used to running away, she can’t watch her kids suffer, she always comes back after she runs away but this time around was a total different case.
“I don’t remember anything” Jason lied.
“Jason you’re not good at lying and you know that very well” Monica laughed.
“She’s such a weirdo, no one is laughing and this is not a joke” Mia sighed. “The war that broke out when we were still little kids, Mum abandoned in the forest, we didn’t eat for up to two days, we almost starved to death. Mum was nowhere to be found. She always runs away when we need her. This time around, Mum is gone for real, we should accept that and move on with our life” Monica adviced. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
“It’s impossible for Mum to leave us.” Maria continued crying.
“Mum is not gone, okay?” Jason comforted Maria. Monica laughed folding her hands.
“You guys shouldn’t feed the little girl with lies.” Monica sighed leaving the house.
Maria continued crying.
“She’s too rude to my liking” Mia sighed.
Maria slept off on Jason’s body.
“Mia, I also think Mum is not ever gon’ come back again, we have to survive on our own now.”
“Don’t worry Bro, I’ll do my best to help out, you need to continue your education, you’re almost done, okay?” Mia convinced Jason.
Jason hugged her tightly.
“There’s no Sister like you”
Mia smiled.

“Mum, are you saying I should get pregnant for Henry?” Eilean asked curiously.
“I know it might seem weird but I’m desperate too. The Riah girl is just 18 years old but you are twenty three and Henry is twenty two. I really want you to marry Henry, They’re very wealthy. Imagine all those mansions being yours” Eilean’s Mum explained.
Eilean sighed.
“Eilean, you don’t need to really get pregnant for him, we can fake the pregnancy.”
“Mum?, I can’t believe this is coming from you.
“Ohh, come on.., don’t make me feel guilty. Who doesn’t want to be wealthy.” Eilean’s Mum sighed.
“Okay, how do we go about it?”
“You just need to put some pills in his drink and sleep with him, Then pretend something happened between you guys the last night. Then, that’s it. You pretend to be pregnant for him and then he’ll have no other choice but to cancel his marriage to Riah.” Eilean’s Mum smiled.
“Oh, that’s true. It’s a nice idea. I think I need to do that” Eilean nodded her head and hugged her Mum tightly.
“Mum, you’re the best.”
