“Allison, I knew you were after revenge against our family!” She remembered how Allison had refused to help them at Sunset Hill.

“Someone arrest her and take her to the police station right now!” But Keanu immediately stood up. “Anyone who dares to touch her will have to go through me first!”

When Melany heard those words, a deep sense of jealousy and anger grew within her.

“Keanu, you can support Allison, but you shouldn’t be so blind to what’s right and wrong,” she said loudly, clearly irritated. Her fingers dug into her palms, nearly drawing blood.

Melany then stood next to Lindy, pretending to wipe her tears in an innocent manner.

“You gave the family heirloom to Allison before, and now Colton is dead because of her. Those photos are proof. How can you still trust her?”

She made sure to remind Lindy about how Keanu had given the heirloom to Allison at the birthday banquet. This mention worked like a charm, reminding Lindy of how Keanu had almost handed over the company shares that same day.

Lindy, easily stirred by Melany’s words, jumped to her feet in a rush.

“Keanu, are you hoping Colton dies out there?”

Normally, Lindy would never dare speak out against Keanu, but now she had completely lost her temper.

“That way, you can give everything to that little brat!”

Her words made Keanu gasp in frustration.

“Do you really think I want my own grandson to die?”

Keanu’s hand shook as he leaned on the table for support.

“If that’s what I wanted, why would I have sent the butler to search for Colton?” Keanu did care for Allison. That was because she had saved his life. After years of knowing her, he understood her well.

Seeing this, Melany continued to stir the pot.

“But you always defend Allison. You even said you’d kick Colton out of the Stevens family,” Melany said, her voice steady, just loud enough for Keanu to hear. “Keanu, you also said that even if Colton died out there, you wouldn’t care.”

Her words made Keanu’s eyes fill with fury.

“If I didn’t care about him, I wouldn’t have spent so much money saving him from Muisvedo!” He shook as his breath quickened.

Suddenly, his vision blurred, and his legs gave way.

Seeing this, Allison rushed to help Keanu sit down.

“Please, calm down, Keanu. You can’t get worked up now,” she said urgently, quickly giving him a nitroglycerin pill.

Lindy watched closely, her expression turning suspicious. “What did you give him? Are you trying to poison him right in front of us?”
