Salute To The General

In the office of the duty leader at the Earth Alliance Headquarters, Leopold, the duty officer for tonight, was listening to reports from his subordinate.

After hearing the reports, Leopold frowned and asked, "What did you say? Alien spaceships were detected entering the solar system again, but you immediately lost track of them? What does that mean?" The subordinate replied, "Either there was a mistake in detection, or the alien spaceships activated stealth mode, evading our signal tracking."

Perhaps fearing Leopold's reproach, the subordinate added, "Yesterday, we were attacked by a fleet of alien spaceships, which caused significant satellite losses. So, we are facing limitations in signal tracking."

After pondering for a moment, Leopold instructed, "Inform Wolfric and Mr. Zach Hill of this situation. Also, order all Earth Alliance War Gods to cancel their leaves. All forces should be on emergency standby, ready for combat at any time." "Yes!" his subordinate acknowledged and left.

Leopold looked out of the window at the dark night sky, muttering to himself, "It has been quite a tumultuous time recently! Hopefully, nothing else happens. Earth cannot endure another disaster."

He was filled with worry about the future.

Suddenly, he remembered Nathan, who had just returned from the Divine Realm to Earth.

He couldn't help but show a pleased expression. Slapping his own forehead, he laughed. "Ah, I almost forgot. Mr. Cross is on Earth now! With him around, nothing should go wrong. I will visit him immediately and brief him on the situation." Leopold was decisive, immediately instructing his subordinates to prepare his vehicle. He set off to visit Nathan that very night.

Nathan was somewhat surprised by Leopold's arrival.

He quickly had Penny prepare some snacks and brought out a few bottles of rare vodka to sit down and have a drink with Leopold.

After enjoying two drinks, they were in high spirits.

They then reminisced about the battles they had fought side by side.

Nathan smoothly changed the subject, "General Remington, what brings you here to have a drink with me tonight?"noveldrama

Leopold was straightforward, stating his purpose.

Upon hearing that an alien spaceship might have stealthily breached Earth's space defense system and infiltrated Earth, Nathan was somewhat taken aback.

However, he quickly laughed and

said, "The fact that they were able to

sneak onto Earth suggests that

there can't be many alien spaceships. Otherwise, they would have been discovered. One or two sneaking in shouldn't cause too much worry. My God's Punisher Spaceship is here on Earth, and there are a few more Divine Realm ships here. Handling this should be more than enough. We can easily handle the invasion."

Upon hearing this, Leopold couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. At the a same time, he expressed his admiration, "Mr. Cross, you are now the God King of the Divine Realm: The power of these spaceships you control is truly enviable! In

comparison, we on Earth are lacking, not even adequate for détection and self-defense."

Nathan glanced at Leopold, subtly sensing that Leopold was indirectly seeking help to enhance Earth's strength.

He smiled and said, "Once the cooperation between the Divine Realm and Earth is settled after discussions, the Divine Realm will help Earth improve its signal detection and defensive capabilities." With these words, Leopold became excited.

He immediately expressed his

support, "I completely agree to recognize you as the King of the Divine Realm and support the cooperative strategy you proposed between the Divine Realm and Earth for mutual benefit. It's just that those guys led by Wolfric don't agree..."

Nathan chuckled. "Don't worry, they will agree sooner or later!"

Leopold was astonished at the response. He looked at Nathan, who was smiling faintly at him. Nathan felt familiar yet distant to him.

But there seemed to be a dramatic change in Nathan as he had become exceptionally composed and confident.

If the past Nathan was a formidable war god, the current Nathan was an overbearing monarch.
