Richest Mogul

Chapter 1667

But Carmen and Sigmund were beyond reason now. It was clear that they were set on making things worse for themselves.

Adults must face the consequences of their actions; there was no room for escape.

"Mr. Becker, Mrs. Becker, you two need to calm down," Elvira reminded them in a stern voice.

As security guards arrived to escort them out, the atmosphere grew dangerously volatile.noveldrama

Skylar's expression remained unchanged as she watched Carmen.

The weight of Skylar's stare sent a chill through Carmen, guilt gnawing at her insides. Elvira's words only amplified her unease, her heart pounding as fear took hold. Unable to endure the scrutiny, Carmen stepped back, reluctantly making way. Skylar said nothing and simply walked straight out.

The moment Skylar left, Sigmund slapped Carmen hard across the face. "This is because of you! I've always known you were bad luck. If it weren't for you, we wouldn't be in this mess. You reckless woman-why did you have to pick a fight with the Martins? You've ruined my life!"

One slap wasn't enough to quell his anger. He kicked her, the force knocking her off balance. Carmen froze, stunned before pain jolted her into action. She retaliated, and the fight escalated.

"It's not my fault. You're the useless one!" she screamed. "If you were capable, would you be afraid of anyone? You run the company-why couldn't you handle things better? You made all the wrong decisions, and now we're paying for them!"

Her voice grew shrill. "This is on you, Sigmund, not me! I want a divorce! I won't live this miserable life anymore. I'm not responsible for your debts!"

"Say that again and see if I don't kill you."

Blows flew, each more vicious than the last.

Elvira and Melanie were completely stunned by the sight. They had never witnessed such a scene before. The couple was no longer acting like a married pair-they looked more like enemies-and worse, they were fighting in a kindergarten.

In her 50 years, Elvira had seen her share of chaos, but this was unlike anything before. She was genuinely taken aback by the scene unfolding before her.

The fight grew more intense, and neither she nor Melanie dared to step in. Fortunately, the head of security, Ebenezer Delgado, arrived with his team. Eventually, the scene culminated in a trip to the police station.

Meanwhile, the children had witnessed everything. When they returned home, many recounted the spectacle to their parents, sparking a storm in the parent group chat.

"Serves them right! That family is

way too arrogant! I've seen news reports about them lately. They run a media company and have been involved in all kinds of shady dealings. People have been fed up with them for a long time."

"Reap what you sow! Let this be a lesson for all of us. Never act like you're above everyone else."

"Thank goodness their kid dropped out. Otherwise, I would be worried if my daughter, Patience, had to go to school with that kid every day."

That evening, after work and dinner,

Skylar finally had time to check her phone. Scrolling through the messages, she glanced at Joe. "Their

eir company's been exploiting streamers with unfair contracts. A group of them hired lawyers and started leaking evidence

Joe nodded in approval. "Good. They won't be able to hurt anyone else."

Just then, Vivian ran over with a picture book in hand. "Dad, I don't know this word," she said, pointing at the page.
