Chapter 458
Chapter 458
The three major families on Phoenix Island, although considered hidden families, were among the weakest.
Their overall strength was not impressive. When compared to the major families of Phaedra Island, or even the Osborne family of Seachurn, they were far inferior.
Among the three major families, only the family heads had reached the Divine Realm.
Thus, on Phoenix Island, a grandmaster was considered very powerful, especially among the younger generation. Theo's strength made him one of the top young fighters on the island.
"Go to hell!" Theo shouted, throwing a ferocious punch aimed to kill Sebastian.
Sebastian frowned, ready to counter, but Artemis swiftly moved in front of him, meeting Theo's punch with her
own.
With a dull thud, a terrifying energy erupted between their fists. Both of them were shaken and forced to retreat. The clash was evenly matched, with neither gaining the upper hand.
Theo was both shocked and angry. "Artemis, are you really going to stand against me for this filthy toad?"
"I was the one who saved seamus's life. If you want to kill him, you'll have to go through me first," Artemis declared.
"Mr. Theo, stop wasting time. Let's take them both down," Clara said, launching an attack on Artemis.
As the eldest daughter of the Strauss family, Clara was two months older than Artemis but always felt overshadowed by her in every other way.
She hated Artemis and wanted to teach her a lesson.
Theo hesitated only briefly before joining Clara in the attack. The two of them flanked Artemis, forcing her to
retreat.
Theo alone matched Artemis's strength, and with Clara's assistance, she couldn't hold them off.
Sebastian pulled out a needle he always carried with him.
Seizing the opportunity, he flicked the needle, sending it flying silently and swiftly like lightning. No one seemed to have noticed it.Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
In the midst of his attack, Theo suddenly felt a numbness in his left leg, stumbling and nearly falling.
Artemis seized this chance and kicked him, sending him flying.
"Mr. Theo! Are you alright?" Clara was shocked and hurried to help Theo up, but his left leg had lost its strength.
"My leg.." he muttered, spotting the half-buried needle. He quickly pulled it out.
"Who did this? Who ambushed me?" Theo demanded loudly.
