Remorse After Breaking Up

Chapter 432

Chapter 432

To win them over, Julian prepared the best dishes and high-quality alcohol for the two men.

"What happened today, Mr. Lennon Senior?" Edward cut to the chase.

"That bastard, Sebastian, killed a lot of people in my family today. He also rescued Bruce!" Julian replied angrily.

"Didn't you try to stop him?" Bradley asked.

Julian answered, "Of course I tried to stop him! However, that bastard has become too powerful, and I can't defeat him. If I didn't run away fast enough, I would've died."

"Mr. Lennon Senior, you must be joking. All of us know how capable you are. No matter how impressive Sebastian is, how could be a threat to you?" Edward questioned.

Bradley nodded in agreement. He didn't believe Julian's words either.

"I know both of you don't believe me. To be honest, I don't want to believe it either. I trained hard for a few decades, but I was unable to defeat a young man in his twenties. That's really embarrassing.

"However, what I said is all true. Ian and Francis have been killed by that young man. A few esteemed elders from my family have also died. If you don't believe me, you can investigate this yourselves," Julian declared sadly.

Since Julian looked very serious, Edward and Bradley believed his words.

"That young man must have started cultivating since he was in his mother's womb. How could he be so impressive even though he's in his twenties?" Edward was stunned.

On the other hand, Bradley frowned as well. He was the leader of the four major families of Phaedra Island. At first, he was already very unhappy that Lorenzo suppressed him. Therefore, he became gloomier because Sebastian was threatening his position.

"Mr. Lennon Senior, you invited us over so that we'd help you defeat Sebastian, right?" Edward asked uncertainly.

"Yes. That young man is an abomination. We can't let him grow stronger. To prevent further risks, we should eradicate him now," Julian answered coldly.

Then, Edward replied, "Mr. Lennon Senior, this is between Sebastian and you. We can't really intervene in this." Bradley nodded in agreement.

Julian knew that both of them wanted benefits from helping him.

So, he asked, "Mr. Edward, your son is old enough to be married now. What do you think of my granddaughter, Cassandra?"

"Cassandra is pretty and has a high cultivation. Of course, I like her a lot. If you arrange a marriage between my son and her, I'll be extremely grateful to you," Edward answered hurriedly.

Cassandra's beauty was second to Lana's in Phaedra Island, and she was an outstanding cultivator. So, Edward wanted Cassandra to become his daughter-in-law and had hinted to Julian about it before. However, the latter didn't give him an answer.

After that, Julian smiled. "Your son is a great cultivator among the younger generation in Phaedra Island. He's handsome and stately. Cassandra will be very lucky if she marries him. Let's choose a suitable date for their marriage later on."

"Alright, that's settled then." Edward burst out laughing.

Then, Julian looked at Bradley. The latter was a little unhappy. "Mr. Lennon Senior, do you have another granddaughter?"

Evidently, he was upset that Julian agreed to a marriage between Cassandra and Edward's son.

Julian answered, "I only have one granddaughter. However, Lana is as good as Cassandra. After killing Sebastian,

I'll give Lana to you. You can have her or give her to your son."

"Mr. Lennon Senior, isn't Lana your granddaughter-in-law? Why are you willing to give her to me?" Bradley asked curiously.

Julian slammed his hand on the table furiously. "Don't mention this again. Some bastard tricked me. On her wedding day, they replaced Lana with another woman. My grandson married an imposter." "What? How could this happen?"Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
