Chapter 477
As Nathalie got closer, she finally saw the face she had dreamed about so many times. It was the face that had once been the center of all her emotions-joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness. She just stood there, frozen in place.
Out of nowhere, a pair of snow-white arms wrapped around her legs. Nathalie looked down, then up, and saw a bright, beaming smile looking back at her. Her whole body felt like it had turned to ice, and with a tremble in her voice, she asked Nathan, "Nathan, where did you find her?"
Nathan replied, "Nathalie, it's a long story. I'll fill you in later."
Nathalie bent down, pulling Minnie into her arms. She pressed her face against Minnie's, and tears began to stream down her cheeks. Dominick and Ford exchanged confused glances.
Dominick, as if he'd just made a groundbreaking discovery, exclaimed, "Minnie looks just like Nathalie. She must be her kid!"
Ford chimed in, "So, Minnie's the child of Nathan and Nathalie?"
Dominick chuckled, "That's just like Nathan-already a dad at such a young age."
Ford added with a smirk, "If they've been together all this time, why didn't he mention it? We were worried about him staying single!"
Nathalie held Minnie tightly for what felt like forever. Oddly, Minnie kept calling out, "Mommy. Mommy. I finally found you."
Tears poured down Nathalie's face. "You've come back to me. Thank heavens."
Suddenly, Minnie stood up straight and reached out to Nathan, calling, "Daddy." Nathan warmly took her hand, and Nathalie, observing their affectionate bond, realized Nathan must have orchestrated their reunion. "Nathan, thank you," she said, her voice full of gratitude.
Nathan pulled her into a gentle embrace. "Nathalie, I just want you to be happy from now on."
"Yes," Nathalie replied, feeling a true sense of joy. The regrets of her past life seemed to have been healed in this one. Cameron may have
betrayed her, but she found a more
perfect and selfless love with monet
Nathan. Her daughter, who had been lost to her in a past life, was now healthy and back by her side.
With her past regrets resolved, she decided to let go of her hatred for Cameron and Greta. She wouldn't waste energy on people who didn't deserve it. Her focus would be on
her family-that would be enough.
"Nathan, thank you," she repeated, overwhelmed with gratitude.noveldrama
Nathan, playing it up a bit, said, "Nathalie, when you misunderstood me earlier, was scared out of my mind. You have no idea how carefully I've been holding onto my feelings for you, hoping you'd return them. I was so cautious, afraid of making you dislike me and ruining our chances. How could Pever risk it?"
Nathalie, feeling guilty, admitted, "I was wrong to doubt you."
Dominick and Ford looked thrilled. "This is fantastic! The little princess has brought the Nathan and Nathalie closer together in love," Lizzy said, buzzing with excitement.
Dominick, unable to resist, asked, "Brother, can we borrow your little princess for a bit?"
Nathan glared, "She's mine and Nathalie's daughter. Don't even think about it."
But Nathalie interjected, "Nathan, I want Minnie to feel the love of many relatives. She went through so much to find me."
Nathan then declared, "From now on, Ford and Dominick, you're Minnie's uncles. Lizzy, you're her aunt."
Dominick and the others celebrated, jumping with joy. "I'm an uncle now. How awesome is that?"
