PERVERT
“How have you been?” Evans asked, putting on a stern look on his face as Cora grunted.
She has seen this look a lot of times in the past.
This minute he’s looking all cheerful and all and the next minute he’ll be looking calm and serious.
Cora often wondered if he had some serious mood swings.
“Better” Cora spat rudely at him.
“Hmm, well I haven’t been better, couldn’t stop thinking about you Cora” he confessed this time looking up with a bright smile on his face.
‘What a maniac’ Cora scoffed as he was doing it again. Toying with her emotions.
She had no idea what to call it, flirting or whatever.
“Actually these last year’s have been my best” Cora retorted in a grumpy voice as she fixed her blouse not wanting to cause suspicions.
“Lies, and I managed to turn you on, just in five minutes after we met for the first time in a long time” Evans said meaningfully scribbling words on a piece of paper.
“Well that’s what you’re good at, seductions” Cora blamed at him as his lips curved up again.
“Do you wanna hook up some time? I’ll always be free babe” Evans invited wearing a mischievous smile this time around as Cora’s face flushed.
She would be lying if she said she didn’t want him too, him inside her, his enticing scent and all, she wanted to feel all that again.
Just say they were the best In having sex relationship without any strings attached one was always there for the other whenever needed and no one ever professed his or her love throughout the whole time.
Though Evans would jokingly flirt at times, it was all just for fun.
“Look Evans, the Cora who knew before is no longer the Cora of before, people change, you know” Cora said as all Evans did was nod.
“Well you didn’t, I saw that in your face, you know a while ago, I’m sure you’re more hungrier for sex than ever, just that you became more stubborn, no one can ever make you feel that way asides from me Cora” Evans murmured while he continued scribbling on the paper.
Cora tried straining her eyes to catch a glimpse but couldn’t, ‘what’s he up to again this time around?’ Cora asked no one in particular.
“Feel free to come around hmm”
“I’ll be leaving now, I have to go to Adia” Cora chimed in dryly as she had to leave this place immediately, Evans was definitely trying to awake the lustful desires in her and he was already close.
“She’s fine, she’s with Sebastian and the last person you would ever want to meet” Evans informed, dropping the pen lazily on the table indicating he was done with whatever he was doing on that paper.
“Who?” Cora enquired wondering who it is.
“The person you followed around the most like a dog and they’re just a few kilometers from this door”
“You fool” Cora cursed loudly at him.
“I missed that word ‘fool’ it definitely suits your mouth a lot and surprisingly that little mouth can do lots of wonders” Evans taunted his smile never wearing off, revealing his cute dimples as his beautiful blue eyes gleamed at cora.
“I hate to admit b…” The door sprang open before Cora could complete her sentence as a sturdy built man walked him another behind him, and that was the cute blonde she spent years obsessing over and lastly Adia who was holding a plastic bag probably Addison’s medicine.
‘these persky males , so annoying’ Cora thought.
“Arion, long time no see” Evans greeted momentarily as Arion swayed to the nearby cushion to have his seat.
“Yea Montenero, how have you been?” Arion gaze swept to Cora before he averted it as if she was never there.
“Hmm hmm”
“How have you been managing this?” Arion referred to the hospital as he looked round the office.NôvelDrama.Org owns this.
“Pretty well, what are you doing here, didn’t expect to see you?” Evans questioned as Arion wasn’t the kind of person that mixed up with people.
“I was dragged here by him” he pointed his gaze to Sebastian who was busy fiddling with his phone ignoring them.
Cora walked up to Adia while the males engrossed in conversations except one of course.
“Are you done here, if you’re done we can get going” Cora whispered softly to Adia who agreed immediately with her.
Adia swept her gaze to her newfound husband who cared less about what was going on in the room.
“See you soon Evans, I’ll get going now” Adia waved at Evans who waved back at her.
“Bye Adia, see you soon Cora” Evans stated with a hint of mischief in his tone.
“I’ll drop you off” Sebastian offered as he got up to his feet, as Adia could do nothing but agree.
“Let’s go” he gestured walking out of the office while Adia and Cora followed behind him.
“Where did you meet Sebastian?” Cora asked as he was a few meters away as he walked to the elevator.
“Bumped into him at the pharmacy alongside that rude jerk,” Adia answered, referring to Arion as the rude jerk.
Cora couldn’t agree less for that’s how he is. Adia really didn’t get along well with Arion as he was the only unfriendly person alongside Sebastian amongst all the people she had met.
She figured he was the other brother.
They both walked into the elevator where Sebastian was waiting patiently for them before pushing a button the moment they got in.
Her and Sebastian didn’t have much of a conversation since they met, he talked rarely, the only time he has spoken to her was the day they got married and once since today and that was when he asked if she was doing fine which she knew he cared little or less about.
“Umm Adia I’ll go in my car, take care” Cora said as she left for the direction she packed her car.
“Get in” Sebastian gestured as Adia stared at Cora fading Silhouette.
Adia got into the car as Sebastian had already gotten in before he zoomed off.
Cora unlocked the security gadgets In her car when she noticed a piece of paper on the driver’s seat and the first thing that came to her was Evans smiling mischievously.
She opened the paper and her face immediately fanned red the moment she saw the contents.
“So that’s what this maniac was busy drawing?” Cora muttered as if it was a drawing of lingerie with a note under it.
‘This was the last piece you left at my place and it has been kept safe since then, feel free to come for it, babe….. ‘wink’ Evans’ she read out as she cursed at him, not only that, he also left his business card.
‘pervert’
‘is he seriously thinking I’ll call him?’ Cora grunted as she got into her car speeding off from the hospital premises.
