Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Chapter 509

Brad finally noticed the misunderstandings he had about Nadine. Since then, he had been trying to distance himself from Jean. He even wanted to mend his relationship with Nadine.

Nadine was a good wife-gentle, virtuous, and attentive when taking care of him. Many times, Brad would find himself comparing Nadine to Jean.

Jean would act coquettish. She was beautiful and sweet, and her illness gave her a fragile beauty. Brad couldn't bear to be harsh with her because of this. As long as Jean acted spoiled and said a few nice words, he would forgive her without limits.

As for Nadine, she didn't know how to act coy or playfully complain to make a man happy. Most of the time, she was quiet and spoke softly. She was the kind of person who seemed timid and didn't have a temper.

Yet, Nadine took care of everything at home for Brad, quietly handling all matters to free him of burdens.

Being with Nadine lacked passion and romance, yet she filled Brad's life with a profound warmth.

Since Nadine moved out of Phoenix Villa, Brad hadn't had a good night's sleep. He often woke up in the dead of night, staring out into the pitch-black night, unable to sleep until morning.

But Brad was a man who valued his pride and would never admit his vulnerability to anyone. As a result, he kept seeking Nadine out and wanted her to come home because he wanted to mend their relationship.

However, he ended up pushing Nadine further away every time.

Brad didn't understand how things had come to this point between them. He felt like Nadine was being too harsh. How could she claim to not love him anymore and leave him so decisively? Were all the things she once said about loving him mere lies?

Even if they were lies, couldn't they have had some sincerity to them? How could her feelings disappear so quickly?

Now, Nadine's cold and distant address of him as "Mr. Hamilton" made Brad nearly lose control of his anger. His hands gripped the armrests of the couch tightly.

Brad coldly stared at Nadine, who was holding the cup in front of him. He wanted to tear apart her calm demeanor and dig out her insides. What had she eaten that made her so heartless?noveldrama

But Brad couldn't do that, and he wouldn't resort to bullying a woman. All he could do was suppress the burning rage in his heart.

In a casual tone, Brad asked, "Didn't you always call me 'darling' before? We're not divorced yet, so calling me 'Mr. Hamilton' so quickly doesn't seem right, does it? It makes you look especially cold-hearted."

Though his anger was momentarily suppressed, he wasn't calm on the inside.

Brad's mind was swirling with memories of his time with Nadine.

Nadine always spoke softly and gently. It was only during the nights when they made out that her voice would inadvertently become louder.

Her hands would clutch his shoulders, calling his name over and over again.

When emotions ran high, Nadine would whisper and call him "darling" in a tender tone. Every time that happened, Brad couldn't control himself and would lose himself completely.

But he had lost that version of Nadine.

She was now sitting right in front of him, just a short distance away. But even so, she felt as cold and distant as someone from another world.

For a moment, Brad thought about rushing over, taking Nadine to the bedroom, and pressing her onto the bed. But he knew that if he really did that, it would be the end of everything.

Nadine heard Brad's words and

flashed a cold smile, not planning to

respond. So what if she was

cold-hearted? She had been

passionate before, and what did that

gether? Scars and nothing more.

Ever since Nadine locked away her heart and decided never to love anyone

again, she had been living much more freely.
