My Quick-witted Baby (Arabella and Kenneth)

Chapter 36

Chapter 36

Now that Arabella had been married to Kenneth and living with the Lucero family in Floweret Garden,

she felt from Kenneth and Sharon the warmth and peace that she was always longing for.

"Grandma, that's really a beautiful doll you're holding!" Arabella said sincerely.

Sharon looked very happy, and she said, "Bella, it's time to go to sleep. I've got some cat food for your

cat in your room."

...

After Arabella went upstairs and entered the room, Sharon looked at Bryson, the housekeeper, and

said, "You mean that Kenneth had a quarrel with Bella last night?"

Bryson responded carefully, "I'm afraid so."

Sharon smacked her hand down onto the sofa and said angrily, "My grandson is good at everything,

but how doesn't he know how to get along with his wife?"

"Mrs. Foley..."

Sharon's eyes lit up, as if she suddenly thought of something. "Kenneth will be back later, let the chief

prepare him a bowl of soup. Remember to put some 'tonic' into it! Kenneth works so hard all the time,

and he needs to build up health. You should know what I mean."

Bryson wiped the cold sweat on his forehead. "Put some 'tonic' into the soup?" he thought, "Mrs. Foley NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.

is really not afraid that her own grandson will get mad at her!"

"Mrs. Foley, if Mr. Lucerocero finds it out, he..."

Sharon gave Bryson a cold glare and said, "Don't worry! I'm here, and you have nothing to be afraid of!

Just tell him that it's my idea if he finds it out."

Bryson had to nod his head and said, "Yes."

Arabella went back to her room and was about to take a shower, but she needed to find her a

nightgown first, so she went to the closet for a nightgown.

There were many silk nightgowns in the closet, but Arabella didn't choose anyone of them, since she

was sure that Kenneth, the dangerous man, would definitely think that she was trying to seduce him on

purpose if she wore a silk nightgown.

Arabella rummaged back and forth and suddenly found a pink plush nightgown. It was a one-piece

nightgown, looking very cute and girlish.

"This one will be okay!" Arabella thought and got it out of the closet.

Arabella took a good shower and put this one-piece nightgown on. She then found the nightgown was

really cute, with a pair of cat ears and a little pink tail behind.

"Meow!"

The little kitten in the room purred, trying to tell Arabella that it was hungry.

Arabella quickly walked out of the bathroom, poured out the cat food, and fed the cat food to the little

kitten.

"Rylie, eat slowly! I'll call you Rylie from now on. Do you like your new name?"

"Meow!"

The little Rylie ate the cat food and then meowed at Arabella, looking very satisfied and happy, as if it

liked the new name very much.

Kenneth came back now. He walked into the room and immediately noticed Arabella in pink. She was

now squatting in front of the window. From her wet long hair that hung down her back to her waist,

Kenneth could tell that she had just taken a shower. Her skin was bright and smooth, and she looked

very pure without any makeup on her face.

She was talking to the little Rylie, in a low voice.

During Kenneth's life of 27 years, it was the first time that a girl appeared in his room. He felt so weird,

and this feeling had never been so strong. Kenneth pulled his tie loose and threw it on the sofa.

Arabella looked back and saw Kenneth. "Mr. Lucero, when did you come back?"

Kenneth came to her and glanced at the pink nightgown she was wearing, "What is this?"

Arabella looked down at herself. There was nothing wrong with her nightgown, and not a shred of her

skin showed. "Nightgown."

Kenneth folded up his sleeves, revealing his strong arms and the expensive watch on his wrist. Then

he reached out and tugged on the little tail behind Arabella and asked with raised eyebrows, "Mrs.

Lucero, I was asking about this."
